oh I know, you guys and gals are great.
My calculations were a bit off though as my wife reminded me, without a job, we have no insurance
so it'll be a bit longer... plus this merchant account is a bigger issue than I thought it would be more hidden fees' hold, rollovers and new requirements. Ugg, every time I think I've got it made someone comes with their hand out... LOL

Eric, are you getting the Vivi Nova 2.5s? I just clicked on it and it said unavailable.
Are Mini Vivi Nova's on the way too? I'm wanting to try them and hoping they will be in stock when you get the ce3 tanks in.

Soo.. With the vmax I can switch voltage with a button as with the gripper.. The bolt is one setting?
One of these three items I see in my future..
All work with 510 threading if I read correctly and all take adaptors in case? Out of these three what are your thoughts? I know the LORD mentioned the gripper first but anyone else care to chime in?

Yes, any day, but the CE3 tank is a way off I haven't placed the order yet, didn't get the "final" sample yet. Who knows they may have pushed me back due to the order size of the other guy (happens a lot)

The gripper you change with a simple press of the button, the Vmax is more complicated than that, you have to go into the menu by pressing the button 5 times and scrolling through the changes, it's easy once you get the hang of it and it's better in my opinion as you don't change voltages by accident.
The bolt is a straight through mod, what you put in, you get out, a fully charged 18490 will give you up to 4.2V but it qwill go down from there like any other battery.
Oh and the Gun Metal Bolt.. is gorgeous, like Chrome only better (IMHO)

Well, for budget, you get the Gripper first. If you have the funds, go VMax. But, the VMax is a more complicated device than the Gripper, but it is made of brass (or stainless steel, depending on the version). The Gripper is a powerful little device, but it is made of plastic (albeit still a sturdy design), yet has a very simple interface.
Both are 510 threaded.
I'm looking at gun metal more only because of looks. I don't really xare for stainless steel look but at the same time i want something multifunctional so the vmax sounds more like what i "need"
