Hi Guys,
check it out, the signature below is DPLongo22's idea while we are waiting for the official DV banner.

that's a great banner :)

Sorry guys and gals for the lack of timely responses on the forum of late, my email has been flooded the last week or so, I don't really understand why but I am getting between 100-200 emails a day now about 100% increase. It seems everyone has a question about something, that's not at all a bad thing just takes a lot of time to answer them properly.

forgot to quote.. it was the CE3 Gianto 3ML Bottom coil.. aka Phoenix Tank at GV

Yep! Lot of people love them. I love the CE3 xl, but haven't had very good luck with the 3ml. I bought 3, have used 2. Filled and vaped one tank full, disassembled and cleaned, went to do a dry burn and dead. I think I need to take the last one apart and check the coil before using it.

Even after seeing sonics pic of the smok vivi tank pulled in half, I pulled mine in half trying to do the exact same thing...

I shall assume I should fill the next one with a syringe, but I did a total disassembly the rest of the pieces in the interest of science (or as much as I could). The center tube fits into the base with o-rings which is why the tube and coil mount section separate from the base when the coil mount disk is too tight. Perhaps if I put a little pg in the tank first to lube the o-ring I might be able to pull it out from the bottom.

Maybe I will drill out the wick holes a bit while it is in pieces and replace the broken wire with a little heavier and longer length of insulated wire. I may have bent the tube a bit too much to really re-assemble it unless I can find the right size bolt to use to straighten it. The pics I took look like there is an o-ring holding on the top of the air/wire tube but I cannot get it to move (hence the mangled tube) Anyone else taken it apart further?

air/positive wire tube:

Time to order another one just to test with juice before I break it.
I am hard on equipment. I dropped my vivi mini and it broke off the tank at the bottom threads :)

Ok, I think I'm making progress on finding my sweet spot.
The CE3s I like but they're too small.
The tanks are good but too fragile for work and really hold more than I need, but I like them so I'll probably just get the smaller ones or just not fill them so much.
The Mini Vivi Nova is still just a touch too small to get me through a work day comfortably, but I like the ego endpiece on the XL3 because it seems more solid than just a 510 connector.
So I think what I'm looking for is the regular size Vivi Nova. So just to ask, how solid is the connector on it? Do you think it'll hold up to some minor bangs jostling around in a semi tractor? I don't expect anything to hold up to a really solid whack, just the day to day stuff you might expect.
Any insights and observations would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The Vivi Nova is real solid. I've been using them for several months and I haven't broken any or had to replace any heads yet. I'm pretty hard on my PV's and I've dropped mine several times onto hardwood floor and it hasn't hurt it at all.

That's what I wanted to hear!
I'll be putting in an order for a couple with Eric after the holiday, one for each of my "all day" juices. Still like the CE3s for the "now and then" juices.

Thanks.
