I just got my DV mini vivi's today, I'll have to dig those heads out in a few and see if they're the same, thanks for pointing that out, if they fit my DV mini I'll be happy!

Let me know also because I have a a vision mini and a 2 dv minis. They definitely different but I haven't been able to check heads as both my Dv minis are full..

I viewed this presentation on another thread, and found it very interesting. Somewhat technical, but the bottom line is that it does support what we have found, and that is that many of the VV devices that use Pulse WIdth Modulation appear to vape a lot "hotter" than what the voltage setting indicates.

The ECD Meter mentioned in the video is not available, either from the maker or on eBay. Interestingly enough, I found that I already have two multimeters that measure RMS, and I'll be making some comparisons when the ZMax arrives for review.

The video is a bit lengthy, but in my opinion worth viewing.

ah. i know stoney he is a very clever guy, been around for yonks in ecigs in aus

congrats to him for making this device, the device will either be sold via aussievapers forum. or he might sold bulk lots to vedors or something. but i know you could probably talk to him over at aussievapers and grab one if he is allowing sales.

im not saying i know how he will sell them. just saying thats your best chance

I spoke with Stoney (the one who brought all of this to light on RMS), and he said that the calculation we were doing for wattage was exact! YAY! So, we were correct with our wattage calculation. Vaping Turtle had sent this info to me a while back, and the calculations matched, but I was skipping the part to find out the VRMS.

Eric, I got the EVO Transformer today. IT IS AWESOME!!! I think I like it better than my Vmax. I just wish the top was threaded.

Yup, it's better... just not PWM. It is fun too! I love it!

You don't happen to have a 14650 ePower in your stash? Wondering if the VV EVO switch might fit the ePower tube.

I don't have the ePower. I wish I could answer that one. I am really diggin' this thing. It has all of the features of the Vmax too, except battery level is always displayed in the menu. It is also constant voltage.

I was able to use a lower ohm atty on it, which the Vmax couldn't handle (1.1Ω). That kind of wowed me. Then I found the ohm check, and that sold me on it!

Now I need to get more 16650's.

Ok, dug em out and checked, the 4.0 heads I have do NOT fit in the DV mini Vivi Nova, the 4.0's have that metal cone thingy on the top, the DV mini's are flat, the top won't screw down over the cone thing. I'll use them in my big Vivi Nova, I think maybe that's what I bought them for...that's the trouble with having so much crap, and still buying more, I keep forgetting what I have or why I bought it.

Oh, it doesn't have to be on there? Won't juice go down the center without it? I think I saved some old used heads that have the flatter metal thingy in them....dang where did I put those....if not then yeah, I'll just take the cone off, thanks AG!

Just change out for the flatter metal thingys if you have them and it should be fine. Try it and see if it works for ya. It may make a different height tho now that I think about it from one style head to the next ? I dunno, try it and lemme know

LOL, yeah, somewhere stuck in the corner of a brain cell, I have a fragment of a memory of Eric saying he measured them and they're not the same height...of course at that time I didnt have a mini Vivi Nova so I was sort of "La-La-La I don't hear you..." at any rate, I will have a look for the flat round thingy that has no name, and try putting that in there. Of course, right now, I'm wiped and have no plans to get up off the couch. lol
