Just got a bull..... reply saying all the DV Mini and Novas have always used the same head.

this is CRAP, I know for a fact that they did not fit each other and was seriously disappointed when I started this whole thing.
That's why I listed the Universal as "universal" because it fit the Nova and the DV CE5 bit not the mini.

OMG so frustrated. How do you tell a vendor to go... themselves when they put out such a great product but provide such crappy consistency???? sorry for the rant but I am just exasperated with this, I do not do this to you guys on purpose, I swear to you.

I think going forward whoever ordered the original should just get a very good discount on the "new" one until I can at least figure out what to do with this. Kaleb if you are willing to send me back an original I'll make it worth your while, it might help me find the right head.

Eric, get with me tomorrow. I may have some ideas to help out. I'm off to bed tonight though.

I've got a couple of the DV Vivi Novas also, and I really like them...a LOT. But yes, I've ordered replacement heads a couple of times, and none of them work. Eric- I don't need free replacements or anything, I'm not worried about a few 2 dollar heads, but please, if you or anyone can figure out what heads will work.....let us know! :)

I got 2 new heads left for the 4 that i got been cleaning the other one but it is to the point they not doing all that well just hate to have to change over to the vision nova,s but that is what it is looking like.

I only use the visions. They're a little more expensive, but I've ordered heads from various vendors and haven't had an issue at all. Plus, the minis and the regular novas use the same heads with no issues whatsoever. I've been using them for several months and have only had a few heads fail. Typically the wicks fall apart before the coils burn out.

As an Update the the DV Vivi Nova

The new ones I received now take the same head as the DV Mini Nova, which is a good thing, but they are different from the original DV Nova which is a bad thing.

If you purchased a DV Vivi Nova 2.4 or 22.8 tank (unit only) prior to October 15th then you need the Universal coil head.
If you purchased a DV Vivi Nova 2.4 or 22.8 tank (unit only) after October 15th then you need the "DV Vivi Nova coil head".

If for some reason the Universals are not fitting (happened to kaleb) I will swap the old one for the new one.
Kalbe has sent me a older unit so I can make ceryain which head will fit it, I'll go through as may as I can to see if there is something up with them and figure it all out.

For now...the "DV Vivi Nova tank" now uses the "DV Vivi Nova coil head".
Going forward all DV Vivi Nova, 3ml and Mini will take the same head so no need to buy different heads any more.

The manufacturer explicitly denies these have ever taken any other head which is obviously bull....

Is Eric having shipping issues? I ordered yesterday at around 2:00PM est and the order hasn't shipped yet. Last order took about an hour for shipping confirmation.

Ok, so checked with Jamie, she been doing a lot of the packing lately and it looks like she stopped doing orders around 1-ish on Thursday so yours might have been delayed until the following day, I am sorry about that :( I do try to get them out same day.

To her defense she's been doing 2-3 times normal orders lately without my help and probably was just beat, we had a mini blizzard the day before and had to hit the PO by 1PM so she had a lot of extra orders from the previous day also.

SplitFire 3ml Tank with Replaceable Head

510 threaded SplitFire 3ml Tank
Will work on a 50 or eGo battery

The bottom chamber tank holds up to 3ml, the top chamber house the coil and they are separated by a metal plate with 4 drilled holes for the wicks. Each coil head has two 2mm wicks giving you four wicks that descend into the bottom chamber
You can replace both poly carbonate tanks and coil/wick heads. We have replacement coil/wicks available in 1.8ohm, 2.4hm and 2.8ohm, colors and replacement tanks coming soon.
The replacement wick is lace tipped to allow easier insertion into the base plate holes when replacing your wick.

You will receive one 510 threaded SplitFire Tank with 2.4ohm coil head and a chrome ming drip tip (a 5.00 free extra!)

It is REQUIRED that you both fill the bottom chamber AND prime your wick above the metal plate and allow time for the wicks to fully soak before vaping. You can vape right away if you have primed the top wick, but it is best to let thisd device sit for a short period of tuime to allow the wicking to get started

Comes with an easy to adjust slot head connector pin. You may need to adjust when screwing into your PV.

Measurements:

52mm without drip tip installed
74mm In height with Drip tip installed
20mm Diameter

Eric's Review:

Pretty darn awesome, the vape is one of the best I have ever had from a "tank" and this included the Vivi Nova. The included head does not have the lace tips so if you clean this one and remove it is a little tricky to get back in the holes. The replacement heads do come with the lace tips so it's much easier. Once this gets going it's a beast, I am very impressed, after I primed it I had one slightly dry hit, so I let it sit another few minutes and then.. nothing but goodness. I cannot stress enough that you MUST prime this, priming is just wetting the top wicks in the chamber, once they are primed the liquid will start wicking from the bottom a dry wick on top is a NO NO. Either prime your top wick or let it sit until you see the top wicks are wet.
Very good tank, easy to use. My only issue is refilling, it's not hard but he first time I did it I took off the top chamber to fill the bottom, it was slightly messy. I now use a syringe into one of the top holes and no more mess.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this one.

I have the replaceable heads for them also in the new Coil Head section in the side menu.

Eric's Review..

Ok, me like, as good as any VMax/Lrider and has the same functions, not quite as heavy as the LRider Lambo made of stainless but functions properly and seems to be dead on accurate in the voltages, 3.0-3.2 is not a harshe vape like cough.. the ZMax.. cough

This is a very nice VV with the bonus of being able to use it as a mini without any extra cost. This is a good purchase, used it for a while now and the test unit will be used along with my Lambo.

LavaFire Mechanical Mod Multi-size

LavaFire Mechanical Mod with multi size options!

Very similar to the telescope mod with the bonus of two sizes in one..

.
1 100% mechanical design and CNC machined
LavaFire is made from copper material with the surface treatment of electroplating chromes. It is 100% mechanical designed and CNC machined without any PCB board inside the body tube, so is much more durable and lifespan is much longer.

2 No PCB board to avoid short circuit and breakdown
In order to make real high quality durable power supply device for electronic cigarette vaporizers, we don’t use any PCB board inside of inner battery tube, only metal cups, caps, spring, insulations, please refer to LavaFire parts sketch. So there will be no short circuit and breakdown happened, no lifespan limitation, as you know all electronic components have lifespan.

3 Multi-choices for various kinds of batteries and voltages
The LavaFire is compatible with various kinds of batteries for different length. Below it is the list of battery cups and batteries, also different voltages to work with different resistance atomizer
Short cup: . . . . . . . . . . . 18350/16340 . . . . . . . .3.7V... regular or low resistance atomizer
Short cup + Extend cup:... 18650 . . . . . . . . . . . . 3.7V... regular or low resistance atomizer
Short cup + Extend cup:... 16340*2pc/18350*2pc . 6V... ..High resistance atomizer (be especially careful with this as voltage will be what you put into it, I do not recommend ever stacking batteries!)

4 Compatible with various kinds of cartomizers
LavaFire use 510 threading, so it can be compatible with all 510 threading atomizers, cartomizers and clearomizer, especially looks great with 510 DC tank
Also it can use 510-eGo adapter to work with all eGo threading atomizers, such as eGo-T, eGo-W, Riva-T, CE4, CE5, CE6

I would like to say something here. I know I shouldn't .... in BUT.....Eric you should NOT have to explain your self or you busy life to people. There are many other vendors that don't even ship the same day. Just because you've managed to send stuff out in the past within an hour doesn't mean you HAVE to do that EVERY time. You should never have to feel you NEED to come on here and apologize to us. I mean Come On Here People....Be real. Eric has ALWAYS been super dependable with his business and has ALWAYS been here for us, bending over backwards to make us happy.
Why all the "wondering" what's going on here ? The east coast has suffered a massive tragic storm that some people are still without power even, it's a wonder he's even doing all he is right now really.

Sorry for this rant........but give the man a break

And btw, has anyone heard from Tully again ? Is he okay ? :?:

Dang Girl, I was almost scared to answer. THANKS for asking. After Sandy we had a lot of work to do. We didn't get anything like you see in the news, for that I am both thankful and I feel a little guilty. I think they call it survivor's guilt. I feel so bad for Long Beach, Sea Isle and so many other places that were destroyed. The storm hit us dead on, the eye passed over us and everything, but the bad winds were to the south and mainly to the north of us. It is still hard for me to understand that we took a direct hit yet suffered the least damage.

Again, thanks for asking. I am back now and for the 1st time in my life, on un-employment. Our business is seasonal and this is the first year we have had to cut back this far. The GREAT part is, I STILL HAVE $$$ FOR ERIC!!!! Yay. The hard part is prioritizing. The wanting the new and shiny, and or, needing the supplies. I go away for a couple of weeks and it's like a whole new web site. Eric has been kickin .... and takin credit cards. (It just sounded better than "Takin Names")

AG, I do have to agree with you, BUT, I also see where Ctor is coming from that is what makes Eric, Eric, and that's why we are here. We can dialogue like old friends chatting on the net. Granted he shouldn't have to explain EVERY little or BIG thing, but it makes each and every customer feel like part of the family. Granted, being a couple hours behind in shipping is a little thing, but again it's like being part of the family. (Stupid example) "Little Johnny, you know we have dinner every night at 6pm, why didn't you show up until 8pm? Are you sick?" Ctor was just curious as to why 20 hours had passed by when it is EXTREMELY unusual for that amount of time to go by with no notification. Merely someone caring about Eric, Jamie and of course their order.

Personally as long as he doesn't share his BM's, he can talk about anything. We have all learned that he has to deal with idiots every day, "No that same coil head work for tank and use 3 for USB. How many batteries you order today? And that's all in yellow right?" or the now infamous, "I am writing the better business bureau, each and every cartomizer and tank i ordered from you has a hole in the bottom where it threads to the battery, they are all defective. I want my money back or I'll sue you!"

So, let Eric share, vent, jab, growl, apologize, laugh or even cry. NO, forget the crying, no crying, absolutely not. I'd rather hear about BM's than have Eric cry. Ok, time to go to THE SITE AND SPEND SOME DOUGH!!!!!

I understand what you're saying Tully. I just don't want Eric to have any feelings of guilt about anything just because he didn't apologize or explain something. We're adults, there should always be room for give n take at times. Sometimes people forget that's all. Sorry I even said anything but I felt it wasn't right. That's all. Sorry for a "My Bad Moment". I won't do it again.

p.s. I'm glad you're okay :)

Later.............

Uhhh, there is no crying nor BMs in vaping. Just sayin Eric, in case you were gettin' ready to share.

Tully and AG both well put, valid statements....and my :2c: , I think we are all spoiled by Eric's fantastic customer service, the shipping speed is outstanding yes, but even Eric said, business is growing, which obviously means ton's more orders, and hellooooooooo that is going to take more time to pick, pack and ship, and if he and Jamie are hurrying to pack our stuff up to maintain the same time frame that we are used to, well that's going to lead to order-goof ups at some point, so give the kids a break-- family run business here!!

JMHO, love all you peeps in this thread, so I hope no one gets their undies in a bundle!!

Now don't you go apologizing for nothing. I understand what you were saying, I also understand why you said it. I feel the same way you do. So, again, the facelessness of social media rears it's misunderstanding head. Lady, I luv ya. You and your Monkey friends crack me up every day. If I would have caught that ring ding witch T-shirt in time I was gonna buy it for ya. Smile ok, WE ARE SORT OF A FAMILY HERE. A little on the dis-functional side, but a family in a WAY roundabout way. XOXOXOXO. I Tarzan, you AG51
