Well..tomorrow is supposed to be D-day for ordering the Lavafire...and I'm getting cold feet. I can't believe there is NOTHING online in the way of reviews. No vids of anyone using one...not much of anything except the video on the Beautiful site itself.

My funds are too limited to make a mistake. I really thought I wanted one because I really like my telescope and wanted this cool new looking toy. But with NO feedback from anyone? I don't know now. If only SOMEONE who's bought one would say something! WAH!!!!

I wish I could help but my reviews are somewhat biased and I don't use them aside from testing :(
if they work, they get a "good" review from me but only because I do not really have much experience with that kind of device.

I have a Lavafire, but it is a different design. So, I am sorry that I am not going to be much help. Maybe after Christmas I will be able to afford one of Eric's models.

You... bias??? You have very honest reviews! You are one of the few vendors that will say a product sucks, if it sucks.

Well..after some careful thought (and considerably more waffling...and nearly backing out) I decided that Eric says he DID test the LavaFire, and still put it on his site. So that was something. And I really like the looks of it...and the mechanical function...and that it's copper based....and versatile (although I won't be vaping over 3.7, the option to go higher is still there). Then a trusted friend (who was active here for awhile until he had to go back to work) sort of "encouraged" me. Pointing out some things I ought to consider.

So I ordered it Monday. Now I'm on Vape Mail Watch. I'll report back when it arrives and I've had a chance to try it out a bit. After all..SOME one ought to give a review or at least some comments about it here! I'm no "expert", but I do know what I like, and am not exactly wet behind the ears. We shall see!!! Stay tuned!!

Not sure I understand? What is the "Tec Mod" and what does it have to do with the LavaFire I ordered?? lol!!! Is it on the site? Now I'm all confused!!!

[Edit] Ahhh. I see it now! Very nice. Stainless. Interesting design. I do like that it appears to have the 510/eGo connection (something the LaveFire doesn't...have to use an adapter for eGo threaded stuff). A bit more pricey, but not impossible. Well...I hope I really like the LavaFire, anyway. I told myself this is the LAST PV I'm going to be buying for quite awhile. And anyway...I already have a black chrome telescope that I LOVE. So I"m good.

I'd never get anything if I kept waiting for the "next new thing" now would I?? hahahha!!!![ /Edit]

L-Rider Telescoping Transformer VV Mod

Telescoping Transformer VV Mod - Chrome (Body Only)

Adjust Vaping Air Flow, Check atomizer Resistance, change voltages and use a variety of batteries! .This unit does it all..

The Telescoping Transformer accepts All 510 and eGo threaded atomizers, clearomizers, cartomizers, vivi nova tanks, Map Tanks, J-Tanks, CE4, CE5 and all ohm ratings from 1.0ohm to 5.0ohms..With the Telescoping Transformer VV Mod you can use a variety of different size batteries from 18350, 18500 to 18650 Protected or Unprotected

My review is forthcoming but so far it's just as good as the LRider Lambo 4.0 with extra cool features like telescoping and air flow controller. Lets just say I almost didn't get this because of the button but boy was I wrong, I LOVE the button!

TEC MOD - Mechanical Telescopic Mod

Similar to the Telescope

MOD electronic cigarette With bottom firing lock (screws down tight)

Made of stainless steel
Working Voltage:3.7-7.4V

Please Note & Warning! although you can put two batteries in this mod is is NOT recommended, in fact it is strongly discouraged. .Stacking batteries in a mechanical mod like this can and will damage your cartomizers. Two batteries will double the voltage output and we do not sell ANY cartomizers or clearomizers that can withstand that high of a voltage. we do not under any circumstances recommend stacking batteries for any reason, if you purchase this item you do so agreeing you will not do this.

Suitable for:510/CE4/Ego-T/UDT-L/V5/V6/AGA Atomizer.

TEC. electronic cigarette tube Advantages :
* Full mechanical MOD
* Can fit different battery type
* With lock protected on the cover
. .
Eric's Review:

I don't really get into mechanical mods, but I have to say after two minutes wiyth this one, I like it. .It screws out to allow any size batteries, even the oversized 18650 down to a 18350. The base has a screw up lock firing preventer (which you MUST use if you plan on standing this thing upright as the weight will cause it to fire) .A HUGE well to fit any carto, although my favorite cartomizer the T2 still needs an adapter due to the 510 connector. CE4/5's will fit properly. All in all I say if you like mechanicals this is a great mod, fully stainless. The firing pin in on the bottom rather than the top, which is different from most mechanicals. .You can put the battery in either way but I prefer (and recommend) you put it in with the bottom of the battery facing the spring. I personally will not use this, but again, I am not a bottom button kind of guy.

Special Sale alert:

I am putting the Tiamat on sale today, I purchased a lot for this reason and they came in today. So I am cost averaging, passing it on so to speak.

It is 19.99 when you use code: tiamat20
this is currently ONLY for my forum subscribers (or whoever see's this here) :) and will not be permanent, I have a set number of Tiamats (a lot) that are available at this price, the discount code will work until I hit this mark (should last a good while).

I got the Hydras little brother today also

3.00 off the listed price with code: satyrecf
Unfortunately I cannot combine codes on my website, I am sorry for this.

But if you buy both use this code: tiamatsatyr
Please note, if you use this code and do not purchase both I will cancel the order and not be happy with you, so please use it only if purchasing both.

No Hydra? :( I suppose I can order the Tiamat. I can add a little more heft to the Vamo. Maybe use it as a billy club? :)

^^^^ Hope y'all know I was just being a smart ..... I've been eyeing the Tiamat.

I'm having a hard time finding wire and wick. I didn't see it under parts. I'm probably blind. Does anyone know what category they're under?

edit- nevermind, found it! I am blind....
