Hey, got it today, thanks! It works with a flat top just fine, but you need to unscrew the button quite a lot to get it to fire. To remedy, there's an internal adjustment in the switch base that unscrews to lengthen the switch bit....after doing this, I only have to unscrew a few mm and then it'll fire upon pressing.
