Yes, there are grooves cut in the protank but there's also air holes right above the threading. I just tried one to test it out for you and it does in fact change the airflow using it. I tried it to restrict the flow and almost sucked my cheeks inside out cuz it was way too hard a pull for meI reversed the setting and it went back to an easier draw. So my opinion on it is........it works !

Ha! Africa does look a little sad, but on the other hand South America looks downright sexy in a hot yellow sorta way! Ok, I rinsed out a protank and filled her up and stuck her on an Evod battery (with the little beauty ring dealio) and it's a vaping monster! I love the draw, I don't think it's too airy for my preference, having said that I'm used to vaping on a variety of "toppers" that have an airier draw. I got evod heads too, so when I go for a refill, I'll try one on it and see what I think.
put you protanks on that adapter and see if you lips gets sucked in too
Ok, with the adapter on the evod battery, no difference at all, but that's cuz the adapter won't fit through the little beauty ring, so the whole base of the battery was still exposed. I put it all on my ProVari, and yep, tight as a drum, my cheeks suck clear up inside my sinuses and are now drooping out my nostrils. Firechick, head over this way when you're done assisting MM!

Good Morning friends! Monday is so much better when you get vapemail!! Thank you to Eric for the speedy shipping!!! First thing I did was put an Evod head on my Protank that I have in use and I think it actually did tighten the draw, either that or my mind is playing tricks on me! Lol. OK then, off to try one of my Evods!
I got DV vape mail, too. Eric, I love the Happy Face bouncy balls. Daughter took mine to play with/annoy the cats. P.S. If you send chocolate next time, she will take that away from me, too.
