Right now I'm working with mesh, it was the easiest to get my hands on. I also have some cotton to try, and ceramic wicks to try. My current issue with the ceramic is that I have the wick, but no device with a big enough wick hole
I just bought an IGO-L from Eric to try out, but haven't set it up yet. I spend way too much time reading and typing here:)

I hear ya it took about 5 trys to get the right wraps and wire combo to my liking hope you can find yours and get it working soon , I tried hemp wick but didn't like the taste but it wicked great didn't want to try cotton as I probley would burn it lm kind of hard on the wicks . Also try the hot wrap on the ceramic if you do it right it works great with the first wrap no break in period

I'm doing the same, but still playing with rebuildables:) (somewhat successfully, somewhat not)

My experience with rebuildables is limited, and what I have right now I can fiddle with fairly easily--I had miserable results with the AGA-T and Tiamat(sp?) as well as the Griffin. I still have all 3 but they are now in the box of shame, along with a couple of others that I don't remember the names of, lol. What I do like and play with are the Octopus rba, my Dream tanks and a couple of Spheroids. I bought some cotton wick (a big skein of the recommended Walmart yarn--Peaches & Cream---haven't tried it yet though.

I looked at the Octopus, but it seemed that half your juice would be stored in the wicks instead of getting to the coil. Do you like the Octo?
EDIT: I'm working with the AGA-T+ and AGA-T. Why didn't you like those? It might help me out:D

I can get them to work fine. I'm not so sure I like the vape, but I keep trying. I've been working between 1.6 and 2 ohms, but it seems that some juice does not like RBAs. I keep plodding through it and trying new things. I want to rebuild a Vivi head with the cotton and see if I like it (for now, I am not a Vision Vivi Nova V3 fan), and I hear that cotton can do very well in the IGO-L. I am working on getting a SmokTech RSST for the ceramic, I think the wick hole is large enough without modding it. I will have to start with wrapping the coil around the wick just to get a feel for it. I haven't tried any hot wraps, have watched some videos, but it just can't be as easy as it looks:) Those guys have practiced.

I like the Octo, as long as I don't drip too many drops in it, otherwise I get a lot of leakage...when I've got it working well, the flavor is amazing. As far as the AGA-T, well I just can't get the mesh wick set up, I tried and tried, just don't have the knack for it, or the patience, so the heck with it!

There are so many things to choose from, new things coming out so frequently, that I don't feel too bad about it, tho sometimes I kind of wonder if its really "the greatest setup" and if I'm missing out on something special, but I'm ok with where I'm at!

Well, it's good to know that the wicks don't just hold all the juice like a sponge as I had thought. Are you buying the wick/coil set ups, or are you making your own? I'm finding that the Petar K/drill bit method is the easiest for me to set up with mesh. I can get it working just fine, but it always seems to cook the crap out of the juice despite my attempts to change the resistance, voltage, etc. I don't know if I'm missing out either, but my OCD (or obstinance) also will not let me stop until I conquer it :D

ETA: Carto tanks, EVODs, and ProTanks are definitely much easier to fill and vape, though...so that's what I use most of the time:)

 Does anyone know what Lo and the ohm symbol means on the Vamo? I dropped it on concrete earlier and thought it broke. I only had my eVod with me with an adapter on it. I didn't use it for a few hours after I dropped it and when I finally went to use it, it looked a little wonky... The adapter looked bent, I don't know how to describe it, but its now giving me a Lo error message when I press the fire button and 0.0 when I check the ohms... I just got home a little bit ago, and put batteries in my Ovale V8 because I thought my Vamo had broken, but then I put a Protank on it and its working fine.... The same eVod and the same adapter are working fine on my V8...

The Vamo either isn't reading the connection of the adapter or of the EVOD. Lo ohms means that the device is not reading resistance. Something "not good" happened when you dropped it. But, on the plus side, you can still use it some :). Is the connector on the Vamo bent? Is the adapter mangled? What does the base of the EVOD look like?

Morning all!

Just wanted to say that 1) I got my first automatic 5% discount today...I guess that makes me official :2cool:

And 2) You all need to get off the ECF and write some reviews for the evods on the DV site. I just ordered my first ones today, but there are only 2 reviews and they're for some weird colors. I had to go hunt them down.

Hahaha. That was a good one Cnew. Too funny! Good morning everybody's. I have good news and bad news. The good news is my vamo isn't broken! Yayyyyy!!!!! The bad news is one of my 510 to eGo adapters broke last night. No biggie, I have two. Well my other one wouldn't come off the T3 that I've had in a drawer for months because the head was bad. So no T3 or eVod goodness for me until next month when I can get a new adapter (I'm already over my vaping budget for the month).

Oh, I forgot to mention that when I was trying to get the 2nd adapter off the old T3 head, I used plyers and it bent the adapter.
Dam Kaleb  you must werk dem arms and hands out ! You bendin that thang lke dats ! Strong one you is dere. Whenever I have an adapter stuck in the threads I get one of those rubber 'Grippery' things that you keep in the kitchen to open jar lids with It'll grip the threads nice without marring them up like pliers do. Or you can even place it under the pliers I guess

HOT and HUMID here today :( posta gets a thunda storms later

I recieved pro tank base for my non working v1 kangar.. It had no air holes drilled in it!! So my replacement from DV was great, no leaks hits great.. After 4 hours of use, i dropped my mech mod with tank attached, bent that new base =\ Oh well, gravity just keeps me grounded at times. My vape budget has been more then used up. But i do like THINGS, and need more STUFF. My next vape goal is to mix my own fluid.. Will give it a shot in May. Hope the DV family here has a great thursday!!!
