Happy Saturday guys and gals! Pretty stoked this morning to have found out about a local vape shop within 5 minutes of my house, going to go visit them today and beg them to start having vape meets so we can promote vaping in this town! Man, I was stuck in traffic after work yesterday, it was warm, no AC in my car, so windows are down, and a car rolls up next to me full of smoker's, I was gagging so bad, I can't believe I used to subject other people to that stink.
Good morning all! What a great find Zooker, I hope they are friendly! I had to go right by a smoker this morning, I just got back from breakfast with my grandma. I too was gagging!

I am off to enjoy family brunch, have a great Saturday every one! I hope i don't cross the paths with smelly people today, cigs are so stinky now to me also. And food tastes much better, since my taste buds are alive.

Have been smoke free for over a year now, and I still can't get over the changes in taste and smell. I can detect a cigarette burning long before I see it, sometimes I never even see it, I can just smell it. Now that the weather is nice, I keep the living room windows open late into the night, and somewhere in the neighborhood, someone is smoking, and their stinkiness rolls right on through my window. Ick. Funny note on taste...I still over-season many of the meals I make for my husband and I. Was used to just pouring it on for so many years, I just do the same thing without thinking, then we sit down to eat and we're both like WTH is that...lol too much salt, spice...you name it....haha

Well this shop is news to me, I am quite excited. When I started vaping a year ago, I bought my first kit (an auto 510 cig-alike) from a local tobacco store, all they had were the kits, prefilled cartos, and tiny bottles of eliquid for $25. At that point I did my research online and found so much better options available. Since that time, I haven't thought much about anything popping up locally, and just stumbled across one that someone wrote about here on the forums. Found that store's Facebook page and then another one right across the river in Portland, who just had a vape meet and I missed it! GAHHHHHH!! You have no clue how badly I want to attend a vape meet!
It's funny that my palette hasn't changed, but I think I have a weird palette compared to some others anyway. I do pick up on cigarette smoke easily, but I always did. I quit smoking in my home long before I quit analogs, and I used to always stand so that the wind blew the smoke away from me. I never liked the smell of it, but was so thoroughly addicted that I tolerated it as much as I had to.
I haven't been to a vape meet either, but I did go to Vapefest this year. It was great (even if Eric didn't come to it). The closest vape shop to me is at least 45 minutes all the way at the end of a subway line...at least I don't have to drive in NYC traffic
I'll go one of these days. But I ramble...the good news is that you are now aware of the local vape meets, and will soon be at the next one! I would like to see a pic or two when you do get to a meet.

I got a Mug, a shirt and a cup holder...luckily no socks and no Ties!
But the best present was a little "book" my 6 year old Logan made for me a few days ago with pages about how much he loves me and how I am the "best daddy in the world ever"! Even had a hand drawn picture of him and I watching "America's Got Talent"
