Sometimes the hardest thing to do is the best gift you can give them. Choices such as this have been part of every fur baby relationship I've ever had~~illness and age have been a battle. :( so sorry for the health struggles you guys are having with your babies. :(
This^^^ but I couldn't bring myself to type the words :|

Oh jeesh, yeah they are getting so many people recently! Nuts! My bank caught mine and stopped it too, there were 5 charges: $1.19. 3 for $15.99 and one for $182. The last one was for an Asian Beauties Dating service, lol which prepaid card do you like for online? I will be doing that, but I'm reading conflicting reviews about fees and such, it's all very confusing.

I use this one online aceelite.prepaid-debit-card It all depends on your spending habits as to which one you would choose. I chose this one cuz it just adds a dollar to every transaction without a monthly charge for the card. I can only afford one or two purchases per month anyways so it only costs the one or two dollars. I can also use a virutal account number (one time use number) for any transactions I make if I wanna. I can reload from netspend reload cards or bank transfer. For "ME" this on works good. If you are making alot of buys per month though it may not be the one you want. They also have some WITH a monthly charge if you use it alot. I don't. I did have a greendot card and it had a 5.95 monthly charge no matter what plus the 4.95 to load cash on it. I got rid of that one. There's a site someplace that compares the prepaids if you google it. Check with your bank and see if they have an online prepaid card cuz most banks are starting to do that. Just load only what you're going to spend on it so if anything happens you're not out any money. It really is all about your spending habits as to what one to get. I've never had any trouble with this one :)

thanks for the info mama, I'll have a look. My bank doesn't offer any pre-paids at this time, which seems really dumb to me, why wouldn't they want my business? God bless 'em though, they caught it and called me...this is the second time this has happened to me in the last 2 years.
This has never happened to me before. I had to stop and get gas at a station in Ocala recently and the screen wasn't working right. My gas purchase went thru as a charge. The bank says they think that's where it stemmed from and the number got stolen. They said the number one hacked card is from GAS PUMPS going thru as credit instead of debit. They said NEVER use a card at a gas pump and slide it as CREDIT no matter what card it is. I thought I was purchasing as a debit but the screen computer on the pump was compromised and it did credit card instead. Of course we can never be positive that's what it was but they seemed to think so

I have a Bank of America credit card that allows me to use a program of theirs called ShopSafe that generates a card number for purchases. I had my debit card hacked a couple of weeks ago so that is why I changed to ShopSafe.
Yeah that's like what I meant when I said 'virtual number' on my prepaid. I couldn't remember what it was called  Thank you Woody :D

Sorry that you guys got hacked  It is happening more and more these days, and there are many threads here about it (one was recently started and has disappeared, not sure why???). It really sucks :(
