Good morning all! First day all week I haven't had to play nurse as my husband finally went back to work today. My house is a sty, but I'm torn between cleaning and napping. If I toss a load of laundry into the washer, and then take a little snooze, it's kind of like cleaning, right?

Good morning, Zooker! Sure does count! My hubby usually waits until the first load is in the dryer before he naps. Yup, I'm lucky to have a husband that does the laundry for me. My bad knees can't do steps. Not until I can lose enough weight for a knee replacement, anyway. So, I'm safe for a while!

Still no nap yet, lol. I've folded what I found that I forgot in the dryer the other day, no wonder I couldn't find any washrags...have more in the dryer and another load washing...I'm on a roll....then in between I keep finding other stuff to do, so maybe it will just help me wake up and get more motivated. With a whole lot of time off in front of me, I had lots of projects I wanted to get done, but the summer has gotten off to a somewhat sluggish start, hope I finish strong!

Good afternoon, everyone. My condolences to those of you who have suffered heartbreaking loss. You are definitely not alone. I lost my parents 53 days apart in 1987. My Mom died in July of that year and my Dad grieved until he joined her. I was actually relieved for him. We get through it somehow. I am convinced most of us are stronger than we think we are.

Zooker, I was watching an old rerun of Leave it to Beaver the other day and wondered how June managed to clean house in those nice dresses and pearls she had on. I wear old shorts and t shirts myself.

I guess I didn't notice, I was still shocked at how you even knew those weren't real photos of me! I worked all morning drawing and coloring those!

Anyone want to take me shopping? Hubby's too busy playing his video game and is trying to convince me that I should go in the morning, when places aren't so busy. I'm pouting over here, because I just made some money selling clothing on a group on Facebook. I need some new clothes that'll fit me!
