Agreed on the long walk. The walk can definitely be sped up a bit! I know I have seen people go into garbage to get cigarette butts. This is more of us just having some fun... and based on personal experience, what we know people will do for a smoke.

I know when I was a teenager, I would pick butts off the street. I remember even wiping off the lipstick on one cigarette ....... smoked it.. NASTY!!!!! lol

First thought...

"We don't piss in your ashtrays, so please don't throw cigarette butts in our urinals."

A bit long... You could edit out the street walking.

Also, I don't know if anyone would do that last bit... And if someone has, do you really want them as your clientele.

I would have jumped on the back of that truck, fallen off at some point, been run over by another car and still crawled my way to get a pack of butts.

Good video linnx. It points out how ridiculous and pathetic we have all probably been. Very, very, very little will get me out when it is cold outside except to get to the car, but if I ran out of cigs and had to walk, yup, I did. Freezing my a** off all the way but I got my cigs. I have even forgotten my money before. LOL

The shot of him digging through the ashtray I thought "he's passing up some smokeable butts." I remember being down to my last cig and basically smoking the filter. God that addiction sux!!!

Other than the suggestion about less walking that's already been brought up, I would make him a lot more ornery on the return. Have him scare a cute puppy away or cop an attitude with an inanimate object maybe.

You could do a sequel after he found ecigexpress.com where he nervously stares out the window until the mailman shows up bathed in holy light shining down from above & sporting a halo.

That's about right. Brought back some fond memories... I remember running out of cigs and no way to get any until the banks opened on Monday morning, so I wondered around looking for butts on the curb and anywhere else I could find em. Once I even used my lighter to dry off a soggy one... how gross that is, can't believe the sick crap that being addicted to cigs will make one think is OK.

I was reading a lot of these posts and they were making me laugh so had to comment. Excuse the long post

I used to pick the butts out of ashtrays, when I was broke in college I used to run past the hallway ones on the way to class and find a few for later. The only time I have ever been a thief in my life was when I used to lift packs from a grocery store I used to work at (a big chain and I knew all the ins and outs), I still feel like a scumbag for being a shoplifter for a couple months but I was a self-supporting college student (rationalizing, still no excuse ).......
