Man they always said never use low res with the analog like batteries which are usually 280 or 350 mah it might damage the batteries. I think those would be different than the 10440?

While the 10440 battery does not have the carrying capacity (320-350 mAh) of other batteries it still is a performer if the battery is cycled correctly and care is given to the batteries. Such as using them in sets, checking charge as they come off charger, etc.. In theory the batteries will have a shortened life due to higher discharge rating but, that is why we cycle often and correctly.

In fact, there is little, very little difference in a 10440 performance compared to a 14500. The only difference that I can think of would be the milli amp hours if any at all.

Perseas is correct that 1.5 ohms is great.

My 14500's are often used at 1.2-1.5.

The analog-like batteries are smaller than 10440, and typically 100-250 mAh (there are a few of the longer ones that go above 300 mAh). The ones with mAh ratings above 300 could handle 1.5 if it were only the battery to consider, but there are circuitry and wires in there as well that can't handle the amp load of low resistance, which is not an issue with mechanical mods like a Slim. Protected 10440s could potentially be damaged by 1.5 ohms, the IMR version is generally capable of that, though it makes for short vape time and can shorten the overall life of the batteries by pushing them too hard
