So how do you like the new mouthpiece?

my english is not good enough to write a good review.
A short review:

I would buy it again.
I like the feeling on the lips.

I also have negative points.
The inner hexagon is not polished.
The outer hexagonal hole is not cut cleanly.
It was very much Vaseline on the mouthpiece. I had to clean it before I can use it.
On the right part of the image. Is the second gap for another oring?

Does the mouthpiece move at all when installed, or does it lock in place?

Kinda trying to debate whether to pick one up, not sure if I really need it though.

I am gonna pick up the small ithaka top cap and the top cap. Thinking of using these on my odysseus that I use for work, would be easier filling each night rather than removing both origianl top cap and screw and such. Has anyone done this and worked well for them?

They fit perfectly, no worries. The Ithaka top caps (2) are a nice improvement for the Ody.

Awesome, thanks Poppa.

Now my initial plan was just to buy one set, but with you saying that I wonder if I should upgrade all three? might be overkill, maybe I'll go for a nice round number of just 2

I did all of mine. I switched them all over to Ithaka double channels as well, they wick like a dream. But I went crazy and ended up with 6 Ody/Ithaka combinations. The top caps & the dual coil ceramics are the parts I like the best about the improvements that Ithaka contributed. I'm very happy that Imeo made the two interchangeable.
Have fun, it all works together really well.

Much appreciated. I think I remember your posts now in the thread about ithaka/ody combinations where you removed the bottom part on the ithaka rebuildables to use in the odys.

hexagon is polished rene. Can you post a pic of yours?
The hexagon on the outer body cant machined in a different way but its a place that you never see when mouthpiece is assembled.:)

Its really shined but not exactly like the other pieces because if I shine it more then its corners would disappear and then mouthpiece wouldnt work well Rene. But you cant see a big difference, do you?. Of course this piece is invisible when it works inside Ithaka.

The second cut is for another o-ring, in case the one is not hard enough for you:)
