I have dropped one of my Penelope ceramic center nut's in my carpet and can not find it. Even with a BIG NUT MAGNET .
If someone has an extra, I have many spare parts(brass button caps, brass springs, o rings, ceramics, brass axis posts, brass screws for buttons and switch etc. for the GG devices. Does anyone know where I might find a nut? Penelope nut store?

Imeo, would the old or new Ithaka center nuts work? Or are any of the other attys the same? I guess I could try but, I am very ocd about having the right parts for the right devices.
I also would love to find a couple sets of magnets, does anyone know where I might find these also?

Did not know where else to put this...:)
Thanks Imeo and everyone!

I have found that a vaccum cleaner useful for finding small things on carpet - just use the pipe part and cover the end with a loose cloth to catch the item. Might help!:)

The magnetic switch would interest me as well. Wish I had that nut to give you buddy.
Easy on the magnets grasshopper. No piggy backing. Eyes on the prize my friend. :)

Been down that lonely road many times. This carpet is new and thick. Thing is, it hit my lap, bounced into the side of my recliner and poof gone into the abyss. I have tried a large magnet but, I worried soon there will be leather recliner parts stacked in my whoops pile soon.
The logistics of my wife leaving the house for a while must be worked out before my "project" starts. Kids are all in or out of college so I can't even blame them anymore for the chair disassembly.
Must find nut.

I ordered a bunch of the magnets to convert my switches to spring-less a while back and still have a bunch left over. If you need a set, send me a PM and I will throw some in the mail.

You too JJ. :)

I keep hearing about magnets. I find the springs a bit tough. Do the magnets make it lighter to fire? How do the magnets differ from the springs?
