I buy juice from a vendor who named a bunch of their flavors after Lord of the Rings characters. They were served up a notice to cease and desist by Warner Bothers.

I remember that. It seems odd WB even found out.

I've been vaping this "fire and ice" juice since I got it yesterday afternoon and I have to say I'm finding it quite nice. I now have 3 flavors I like and can alternate as the mood strikes. I used to be a pre-built-coil, one tank, one flavor guy. My how things have changed!

I used to really like fire and ice vapes too, until I started getting sensitive to some cinnamons. This is a nice one if you really want a blast of hot and cool (I customized it cinnamon/cool hit), the vendor is pretty cheap too. I think the coupon code still works: 10020

Cold Fusion - eLiquid - ECBlend

Cute commercial, but I'm not sure how relating the longevity of a Subaru (which is what that commercial is really about) relates at all to the vaping industry marketing to children. Let's take this a step further. Even if Subaru was trying to encourage children to drive, which is not what this commercial is about, how would a kid get a drivers license or a car? Sad to say, but it's a bit easier for a kid to get their hands on an e-cig. Or am I missing something in this?

Curiously, when I was car shopping I discovered a disproportionate number of ProVari owners have Subarus.

Thanks for the link! I tend to not order juice online as I need to taste it before I buy it. I'm lucky to have a great vape shop who makes their juices in a clean lab and they send it out for testing to ensure it's 100% safe and clean. Yes I am.

On why Subaru's appeal to vaper's? I'm not sure why that would be. Subaru does advertise a lot in the gay community though!

I don't know about the vaping community at large, I only heard from ProVari owners.

RE: Juice - you've mentioned your shop before, but I thought you might like to have ECB in a file somewhere, considering the price. You might find it at a vape shop to try, I know at least one here carries it and your town is much larger than mine.

I currently get all my liquid from ECB (Dragon series), and I'm quite fond of them. I like the options they provide, the low price, and the quality is decent. One of these days I'm going to have to go to the Sir Rod's favorite shop here in Tampa to try their flavors.

unless, of course ... number 41799 arrives DOA ... then, number 41800 becomes you and the replacement is for him

I am with SR ... the Provari/Kayfun is my true vape love.

for the Kabuki to replace my Kayfuns ... they would have to include free coils forever.

Oh Zee man, it's Sunday, and I refuse to be confronted with high math! A DOA Kabuke? I dun thin so.

And our Kabukii DO come with a lifetime supply of coils. 'Brow said he'd re-coil and re-wick 'em for us, for ever and ever and ever!

We must select that which we love for ourselves. And I encourage people use that which pleases them. What I like shouldn't matter (and usually doesn't).

And I only expect that same in return. Which I've gotten here. Which is why I come back. So thank y'all.

My Ruger has had the same clip in it for many years. I do clean it after each use though.

Oh, wait. I always get confused when you speak of Rǖzgar. Never mind. ;)

Agreed. There is no Kayfun-Kabuki battle at all. All coils that make vapor are good coils. (of course including Ms. Rǖzgar). Oh, I have a Ruger, too. He's an ugly little neighborhood stray kitty. Love that lil boy! When he grows up, I'm gonna get him a Subaru.

(it has just dawned on me that I have zero idea what I'm talking about)

I'm not sure what you mean about kids having it easier to get their hands on an e-cig...years and years ago (at least a century ago :)), I used to drive my grandfather's truck around the farm and I certainly didn't have a license. It doesn't take a license to drive a car...just a vehicle, a kid with the willingness to try, and keys that are unattended.

You mentioned it is easier for kids to get an e-cig - but the online sites I visit ask about the age of the visitors - do the auto shops with online sites ask the age of the visitor to make sure they are the legal age to drive? The B&M vapor shops I visit ask for ID when visitors come in to view the products - I have yet to have an auto shop ask to see the driver's license...

Best Regards,
F2V

Even if that was the point, which it really isn't. Isn't it pretty much a given that kids will grow and drive one day? It's not a given that kids will grow up and vape one day. I'm sorry DP, but I think the analogy as posted by Freedom2Vape is completely off base.

I don't. But I'm VERY sensitive to the concept of vape-marketing to kids, as I've found it to be the single most absurd excuse our governing a-oles have manufactured to date. They're ALL absurd, but that one bugs me the most (because they know that people will buy into it). This, of course, from a public who have proven that we'll buy into just about anything.

The current attack on the vaping industry is one of the most insidious diversions that our sponsored legislators have tried to pull over our eyes. It's borderline criminal, when considered in total.

Yet it's perfectly fine to portray a young child driving a car, even if only in a dream? The truth is that it IS OK. I get that much. But there is absolutely NOTHING going on with vape that is any worse. The analogies THEY are drawing between vape and children are ALL much less direct than having one visually portray a fantasy with a P3 & Kayfun in his/her mouth.

Am I angry about this current misguided assault? You bet your ... I am. Meanwhile, the Mayo Clinic is publicly announcing that they are GIVING e-cigs to their patients approaching surgery, in the interests of helping them recover, and possibly survive their surgery. Geez? What's not adding up here?

This is now, and always has been, about the money. The money that the states aren't getting, that they borrowed from the Fed and SPENT BEFORE THEY GOT IT. They (CA, NJ, NY, etc,) are all sucking wind, and have convinced their pocketed legislators to allow them to portray vape as THE GREAT ENEMY WITHIN.

BULLspit.

These puh-ricks could all be hung in the public square and not only wouldn't I mind, I'd give ANOTHER standing ovation. Start with the fat ba$+ard in NJ who saw fit to restrict vaping at a VAPE EXPO this weekend. And, to suit me, don't stop until you get to the skinny ba$+ard at the very top of the heap, consciously dividing us any way he can. Seriously, "The Digital Divide"? Have you seen THIS one yet? If you haven't, you will. Count on it.

Digital-...-Divide. ARE YOU ... KIDDING ME????

Orange jumpsuits. ALL of them. Better yet, public square and a gallows pole ("Hangman, hangman...").

Regarding products supposedly marketed for adults that are guaranteed to attract children (even ones too young to read), this floored me. Plus, in the grocery stores I've seen it sold at it's located on the lower shelves, right at kids eye level.
