I disagree but that's just me. I found the dual coils phenominal & they lasted quite a while. Verticals were atrocious. But I appreciate those who bought verticals- that just meant there were duals for me to gather up without ya'll getting in my way.[emoji38]

Note 5!!!
I think I'm gonna try the bdc's and what coil did you mention for the Kabuki?

This kabuki is a headache for me so far. I lost the wrench. I couldn't decide on the airflow... Flavor is seriously lacking. My nautilus tank is giving me much more vapor and flavor . and my carto's have more flavor than all those, including the cerotank. Its just that ibtanked is sold out of my smoke 35mm carto's and I don't know where else to get them.

I habnt rebuilt my Sophia's yet. I've got too much going on to do any building.

Sounds to me like you've really been struggling with all your gear lately, LK, and for that, I do feel empathy.

The Kabuki have been flawless performers for me, discounting the usage issues, such as lack of ease to fill it, or changing out the tube. But F/V have been comparable, if not a notch above the Naughties.

I'm not sure I could put either in the same classification as a karto vape (and I LOVED my karto tanks).

The Cerotank is a drop in coil tank tho, not a carto tank. I find it superb, in every way.

I've been messing around with my Kabuki tonight. Got it loaded with Strawberry Milk. Currently using 1.2 ohm Trition Mini coils. Vapor is insane but no flavor at all. Which Kabuki did you buy- P3 or 510? I'm finding the 510 pin a P.I.M.A! When filling the tank I have to make sure that pin doesn't fall out. :-x

Something is wrong with your pin. I'd write HOH about it. None of our 510 pins have ever fallen out (and we've got six of them, between us).

They'll fix it for you. I had an issue with one of mine (cross threading), and they took great care of me.

Write them, Lex. I promise that you won't regret it.

And I've heard very mixed opinions about the Trition coils. Both love & hate. I've had excellent luck with the Nauti ones, but I'm in that (apparently small) group who still really likes those coils.

Let us know how it turns out, please.

I have the p3.
I've been using the same coil for a week maybe, but not exclusively. I'm gonna change the coil and see what happenes. Maybe my coils are gunkedd up or something.

At this point I am pretty sure I have a vape curse on me.

I hear what your saying. I find it odd as all heck. I have been using my cerotank the most. Oddly i find the kabuki easy to fill. Easy to clean. It does vape every last drop in the tank too. No gurgle no dry hits etc. I want to like this at least as much as my cartos. Today i am gonna change my kabuki coil, even though I have been using the cero longer and that coil is still going strong. And maybe today I'll mess with my Sophia's a bit.

Thanks & I will. I can't remember if there was a thread dedicated to the pin or just posts thru out the various ProVari threads in which some people were having 510 pin issues. Since I wasn't really using the Kabuki that much, I hadn't noticed it. Last night I saw that I could move the pin in & out without using the lil hex tool. It looks as if the black insulator isn't gripping it.

Me too. IMHO for mouth to lung -- they are the best.

I also find my Kabuki's very easy to fill...now that the o rings have softened up with use. No need for even a paper towel as a gripper.

I do have to watch one of the "grub screw" pins on a 510 version as it seems to stick a bit to some connectors and protrude when removing the Kabuki.

I also find filling my Buki's to be a piece 'da cake, but I still use a paper towel as a grip. Not because I can't open it without the towel, but because the air hole being at an angle, has a tendency to cut into my skin. The paper towel eliminates that as an issue.

I think my problem is related to the (thicker) OMG! Rings that I have elected to use. Because, you know, I am NOTHING if not "fashionable".

I need to use the wrench, each and every time.

Zen isn't kidding in his description when he notes that the OMG rings are a tighter fit. I had installed a set on a 510 Kabuki in an attempt to color code the tank but they were so tight I finally got tired of the effort in just filling the tank. I realized that I needed to be extra careful when I was changing them back to the standard black, but that caution didn't help much.

After 10 minutes of trying to get the tank off the top section I finally cracked the quartz in spite of my efforts to go easy - and the tank at that point had not moved even a single millimeter. It was pretty much there to stay.

However the smoothest tank I own (which opens with almost no effort) is one I got from Mt. Baker with the blue o-rings.

Agree on the MBV ones, but both of my original rings got quite smooth to work with, very quickly. The "fashionable" OMG's though, well, not so much.

But I like 'em, so they stay. For now, at least. Ask me tonight.
