I've certainly walked all around the condo looking for my iPhone, when it was in my hand. Got pretty frustrated cuz I couldn't find it. Charlie looked at me and asked what's in your hand. "Oh, there it is!"
The nicotine is supposed to help with that sort of thing.

You're right, I'm not that old. '96 was the best year of my life and it's a transposed, "69"

"96?" I'm glad '96 was a great year for you. I meant that there was no way I believed "96" was your birth year (which is often used in people's screen names).

Unsurprisingly, 1996 is a year I don't remember. There are lots of blank spaces in my life.

I have blanked decades from my life, like I cannot, for the life of me remember any of my teachers before grade 9. Which is funny because I can recall all kinds of other details from those years.

It's my short term memory that's shot. I can remember when I was three years old but I can't remember last week.

That's why I purposely got a tattoo on my 30th birthday. I can't remember where I was or what I was doing for most of my other birthdays, but this one is marked in my mind and on my shoulder forever. BTW, few people know I have one, since it's not visible with 99% of the shirts I wear.

I take it you've done that!!!??? :sneaky:
Guilty as charged... I'm also guilty of this.. My phone links to my car stereo through Bluetooth and starts playing music when I start the car. I'll get in the car heading off somewhere and all if a sudden the thought enters my head "Do you have your phone?" Of course I do you nitwit, you're listening to music and not silence.... I can certainly remember my fifth grade teacher Miss Waugh, she was hot! Then too we were also living in Chitose, Japan at the time.

All right...

Back in the day, my first wife and I ( I was divorced for 20 years b4 marrying Jackie) were at a friends house when we realized the keys were locked in the Blazer. Had a cop come unlock the door and everything. Couldn't find the keys in the vehicle but at least the Blazer was unlocked.

They were in my wife's coat pocket.

I now, and have been for over 20 years, carry a car door key in my wallet. You wouldn't believe how many times, and where, that has saved my life.
