Now that I think about it, I have never even seen a picture of a fake Provari, let alone seen one in the flesh!

Rainbow Heaven distributes one. I say "distributes," because it clearly states it is made by Stainless Steel.

Here's a closer look with annotations...Although I forgot to point out that despite saying "Single battery design for 18650" it appears to have an end cap. Perhaps glue is involved. I really like the idea of a built-in checker to check the built-in Battery voltage checker.

I posted this a long time ago (hence the comment about VW). If I remember correctly, ProVape bought one.

Thx for posting this. Does it say Provari on it?

Also.... Who's Atomizer Ohm and why do I need his checker?

I've read it has no logo. Perhaps if you check with Mr. Ohm he will tell you the manufacturer.

We did get one of these a long time ago. It lasted 4 minutes. When we hooked it up to a volt meter to check its output the device crashed and never worked again.

Did you do a necropsy? I'll bet you did. Was there anything interesting inside?

Just think of the impression this would give someone that bought one and didn't know the difference. Though they are saying it is a clone, the uninitiated individual would think that this POS is anything like the real thing then a Provari is a highly overrated device. But we all know better than that...

Considering it was out when the Vamo was all the rage, ProVape may have made the only purchase.

Satin P3 v Ti... Interested in views on the finish and any differance between the two. As my GMZ packed up I had to get another P3 and was torn over the satin and Ti as I really like the satin finish on my watches but with the Ti I could also get a matching Ti tank, I'm a bit OCD like that and I wasn't that bothered with the differance in weight.

When the Ti P3 arrived I spent a week looking at and was thinking, I'm not sure about this should I send it back and get the satin. The Ti looked to me a bit like plastic....

In the end I accepted it and have been using for about 2 weeks and pleased to say it seems to have lost some of the plastic look and taken on a slightly darker hue with use.

I would be interested in other users views. Cheers

Me too. The media blasted SS finish is simply amazing. It may not cost extra, but it is super durable and feels great in the hand.

And I don't know why "feel" is such a big deal to me. For example, the Aspire Pegasus is a nice mod, but most of the body is covered with some sort of icky feeling lacquer or something. I'm using three PVs right at this moment--a Radius, a polished Mini and a gold Zenkote Mini. All feel nice, and I cannot tell much difference between the polished and the Zenkote. However, if I switch to a gunmetal Zenkote Mini, it feels strange, sorta sticky. But the media blasted SS is the best.

Agree the GMZ can feel sticky and I don't get that with the Ti.

My GMZ should be at my door today in the UK so I will be interested to see how I feel about the differance. Still love the GMZ more that the Ti, but as we know love can be fickle.

Talking about fickle, the weather today in London is playing a good game. Cold, sunny, warm, rain, hailstones... sun! Not bad in an hour if you want to experience differant conditions. Cheers

I've had GMZ's and Gold Zenkote's feel like that, Dampen a paper towel with some isopro and give it a good wipe down. Then polish it with a soft cloth.

My Zenkote ProVis get a damp paper towel wipe down from time to time during the day.

I experienced the same feelings with the gun metal zenkore mini as you did. To me it feel sort of tacky, my fingers didn't slide cleanly over it. Combined with the incessant fingerprints, I hated it and returned it to Provape.

Feel is very important, after all you holding for hours a day. There is nothing better than SS as everyone seems to agree, and my Celtic Knot is by far my favorite.

The difference between my Ti mini and a P3 Ti really surprised me though. The mini was noticeably darker than the P3 and a bit lighter weight. I guess that's a reason to own both!

In my case, the worst finish I own is the polished Stainless. Sticky, fingerprinty, shows every tiny scratch, etc. I do like the Zenkote finished more, but maybe that's in my head.

My Radius and black Classics are getting the most use lately with my Zombie P3 making a recent charge.

Tempted when I see these for a C note.
Enter code ECF and it knocks about five bucks off the price;)
I put one in my cart like three times, then finally decided no...I'm holding out for something special :)

Soooo, I was just looking at the ProVape site and a funny thought occurred. Could the P3 be on it's way out? Now don't just say I am crazy, but the order of listing of the mods just struck me as peculiar:

Procyon
Radius
Classic ProVari
ProVari P3
ProVari 2.5

Why would the P3 be listed below the Classic and above the 2.5 which we already have been told is going the way of the T Rex. ? Just some idle musing is all, carry on...

I might be remembering wrong, but I'm thinking it's because the Classic came out after the P3 as a more affordable option.

That's probably true, but my mind likes to see product lists by some sort of priority, like the flagship device listed first, then the next tier product and so forth. Maybe I'm just weird like that...
