I am so weak! I just got my new Satin P3 in this week, along with two Kabuki tanks (which I love) and while browsing the site of my favourite shop, I discovered that they had a Satin Classic 2015 on sale. Now, I said to myself, 'Self, you don't really need another mod.' To which myself replied, 'That may be true, Al, but what happens if the FDA or Canada for that matter, decides to mess up distribution of your cherished ProVape mods? Hmmm?' Aw nuts, said I, as I dropped the Classic in the cart. At this rate I'll never get my bronze, snakeskin Radius!

Well, there's part of me which sez, I must send every P3 back to ProVape right away, if not sooner, and upgrade them. I absolutely NEED that battery icon, becuz' the Procyon has one, and it's BIGGER.

Then, there's the other part which sez, self: you have 49 mods, and ProVape is gonna release Firmware Update 41, at 11:59PM PST on August 7th, so maybe just wait.

I'll probably compromise and wait until Tuesday or so before rationalizing why it's urgent to get firmware 40, because obviously I need it immediately, and it's obviously gonna be the last one... until the next one.

Sure you will, with the FDA ruining everyone's life, everything in your hoard is really an investment, they're not just impulse buys anymore, and probably you need 5 of them, or 9, so your spares have spares.

That's how I felt about V39, it had been out for a while, I had a feeling that would be the last one, got the update, and less than a week later they release V40 with a feature that actually made me like my Radius menu  I'm doubting there will ever be a V41...we're only six weeks away from the hammer drop.

I'm so confused. Why would the fact the P3 now having Manual Mode make you like the Radius menu? You didn't like it before? I don't get it, please explain.
When ProVape released the upgrade software to allow manual scrolling with the Radius, which it didn't have at release, is when I started to like the menu. The manual scrolling feature allowed me to slow it down, and lock it into my memory banks. Not a biggie, I/m actually more excited about the battery icon like the Radius and classic has. Just talking about minor nuances that I find appealing...

Oh, ok. Lol Those minor nuances can make all the difference in the world, as in which ProVari will be purchased next. Talking about them is why we are here, right?

I actually prefer the battery % over the pictured meter but it is not a deal breaker. Nice we can still navigate to % if we want to see it. Jackie prefers the pictured meter. She also prefers Auto Scroll after trying Manual. I prefer manual scroll. Now I see what people are talking about when they refer to, "controlling the menu rather than it controlling you."

Astro and Enaud, thanks for the info about the V40 upgrade. I bounced my P3s back to ProVape for it (I hadn't taken them out of the box from getting the V39 upgrade :lol:). They should arrive at the spa today/Monday so I'll get my well traveled babies back next week. I miss my P3 Ti!

Welp, mailman came, and did the ole stick the mail in the box and scoot routine...I thought i was going to have to wait till Mon, but...there were two boxes from Monroe sitting there. I'm liking the V40 already. Got my original P3 in manual mode to test drive that feature. Oddly, that one came back set to 6V:shock:

I,m digging the Ti P3, wound a fresh res/no-res coil and re-built a PT2 head and filed it up with some Drum tobacco flavored juice. Puffing away at a steady 6 watts

But did you pay for it yet or is it still sitting in your cart? :p

Good Lord! I just checked to see where the nearest shop is to me, then went to their site. Saddens me to see a shop selling a Mini 2.5 for $140.
There's a shop down here that has about five of them sitting under the glass still marked at 180$ or so. They've been under that glass for well over a year.

Heh, I paid for it, ScandaLex, really. :)

Now my sights are set on either a custom Radius or a Ti. Schismz provided a great reason to pick them up. ;)
