Get this. Yesterday AT was showing his Plasma kayfun tank in a post. Both RB and I went to Trippy Tips and noticed it was out of stock and priced at $50.00. Today it's priced at $60.00 and still out of stock. Bert at Trippy told me to go to Boulder vapor as they had them. I did and they were priced at $65.00. Well I emailed Boulder and asked if they would price match Trippy. To make this short Boulder emails me a snapshot of the Trippy site where it's selling for $60.00. I have to wonder about them.

EDIT:

Trippy Tips has emailed Boulder and Boulder will sell me the Plasma tank for the $50.00 sale price.

Totally OT: when you buy something in the classies, does the seller Pam you to give you details on how to pay him/her? Do you PM them back with your name & address? Just got verified today and don't know the process (clearly!). Thanks!

yes, you have got it LB ... careful, those classies can be addictive

Well RB,

I took a page from your handbook once I found out a local Vape Shop was doing updates...

I call them up.

To be continued...

They said: Update? Sure! 20 Bucks.

I chuckled and said, I can send it and have ProVape return it for 12 Bucks...

To be continued.

They said: But the updater cost us 200 Bucks. And, You wont be without your ProVari for 2 weeks.

I said: I've got 2 P3s

To be continued...

I further said: I'll spend 20 Bucks in your shop, and you update it for free. I was placed on hold...

They came back and said: That they could not do it for free.

To be continued...

But, To close this up.

I offered to buy 20 Bucks worth of stuff, and I would pay only pay 10 Bucks for the update. So, The P3 Beta will be getting the update, and the P3 Ti will not.

We'll see how it goes...

The Final Chapter...

Stopped into the shop Today. They recognized my voice and said, we talked about it and agreed to do the updates for 50 Bucks...

But, We'll still do yours for the agreed price of 10 Bucks.

I stepped away from the counter, my P3 Beta still in hand, and said 50 Bucks?!?

They said no no, 15 Bucks and we"ll do yours for 10 as we agreed to yesterday.

I stepped back up to the counter, after realizing that my hearing is not what it used to be, handed them my P3 Beta, and said: Don't Brick My Provi...

It went very quickly! Less than a minute, battery reinstalled, I apologized, and bought some stuff.

Very pleasant experience. Would I do it again? Yes, as I went out to my van and retrieved my P3 Ti, and had it updated too. Yes... I paid an additional 15 Bucks also. They were Good Folks!

If that is, in fact, a midnight blue (and not some fluorescent light shining off black) then that is the snazziest color Provari I have ever seen. If they aren't making that color now then they should. Never saw that before.

And engrave it after it is painted so the graphics are dull silver/metal. Oh Baby!!!

That is a much nicer blue than they used to have.

That is the soft touch color blue.

Rubbery, and when you scratch it, its white underneath.

Definitely a display item only.

In my opinion.

That's disappointing. I've never owned any Provari other than SS. The painted stuff never impressed me. But that mid blue does. How many different coating finishes are there for Provaris?
