I took a page from your handbook once I found out a local Vape Shop was doing updates...
I call them up.

But, To close this up.
I offered to buy 20 Bucks worth of stuff, and I would pay only pay 10 Bucks for the update. So, The P3 Beta will be getting the update, and the P3 Ti will not.
We'll see how it goes...

The Final Chapter...
Stopped into the shop Today. They recognized my voice and said, we talked about it and agreed to do the updates for 50 Bucks...
But, We'll still do yours for the agreed price of 10 Bucks.
I stepped away from the counter, my P3 Beta still in hand, and said 50 Bucks?!?
They said no no, 15 Bucks and we"ll do yours for 10 as we agreed to yesterday.
I stepped back up to the counter, after realizing that my hearing is not what it used to be, handed them my P3 Beta, and said: Don't Brick My Provi...
It went very quickly! Less than a minute, battery reinstalled, I apologized, and bought some stuff.
Very pleasant experience. Would I do it again? Yes, as I went out to my van and retrieved my P3 Ti, and had it updated too. Yes... I paid an additional 15 Bucks also. They were Good Folks!
