Good Morning/Evening Everyone! I am new here and somewhat new to vaping. I gave up cigarettes about 6 months ago and switched to a basic eGo. I just made the switch to the P3 and I have a question regarding my setup. I am using the Aspire Nautilus tank with a 1.8ohm coil. I usually run it at around 13 watts or 4.2-4.7 volts. I have been using various e-juice blended at 50/50 and I am just not getting great vapor production. The flavor has not been all that good either. I have tried a couple replacement coils and experience the same thing. I was curious as to what tank setups you all might recommend for me to look into if at all possible. Thanks for any information you all can give, and if there are any questions just ask. :)

Hi and welcome!

Overall, based on the number of posts, the Kayfun appears to be the preferred set-up on this thread (although not for all of us ;)). This time of night/day the thread is pretty deserted. It will pick up in a few hours. I'm no help on the latest tanks, but I know there regulars who are and will give you lots of advice.

Precisely! Thanks, Jim.

Welcome, ABx. Don't mine our resident Ocelot, pretending she doesn't know a tank from a plank. Learn, you will...

If it was me, I'd crank that baby down to around 3.7 volts and work my way up, slowly. Your running a bit warm for my tasted buds (but woefully light for others.

Give it whirl and let us know?

And welcome to P3, Redux.

Welcome to the Provarinati.
It is my understanding that ejuice with a higher level of VG than PG will give you more clouds. Maybe try a 70/30 mix VG/PG, or what they call a Max VG almost up to 100%. I never run my Nautilus higher than 8 watts, mostly around 7 watts, my coils last me almost a month. At the higher wattage, you will need to change coils every week probably to maintain flavor and clouds. Flavor is more important to me than vapor production. More VG = more clouds, more PG = more flavor.

I never did like my Nautilus that I have, it just didn't perform to my expectations. I've since switched to the Kayfun V4 and Russian 91% and couldn't be happier! Great flavor and vastly improved vapor production than what I was getting on then Nautilus and Kanger ProTanks. You can pick up a Russian from Mt Baker Vapor for around $45-$50 right now, these used to be well over $100 when they first came out.

Hey! Anybody get the new Bedazzled Provi yet?

You must be loving the At&T ad with Lilly in her bedazzled blouse.

Crab competitions? Sounds... interesting.;)

Not if you had them.

I also tried Pings favorite Five Pawns. Every single one of them. Didn't like them either.

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the juices I like.

That's me SR. Tobacco or nothing for me.

Boring.

ABSquaredX,

Many of us have moved on from Kanger/Nautilus tanks. I'm now exclusively using either a Kayfun Lite Plus, or the very similar Russian 91%. One thing you need to know though if you decide to go this route. These are Rebuildable Tank Atomizers (RTA). They don't come with pre-built coils, so you'd need to invest in coil building equipment, Kanthal Wire and Cotton for wicking. The initial investment (at least to me) for coil building was high, but once you have all you need, the cost of a coil, which can last a long time (you just re-wick them) is actually very low. But if you go this way, you simply won't believe how great your juice tastes and with a Provari/Kayfun combination simply can't be beat. No it can't!

I'm not disparaging your taste buds Sir Ping! You and many others have clearly more refined taste buds than SR. Yes you guys must!

Oh, it's been SO long since I've been able to share the following wisdom with the vaping community. Now, everyone get a pen and paper and write this down, because I'm sure you're going to want to remember it.

And you can tell them that you heard it here first. Yes you can!*
* You'd be lying, but let's not get ourselves caught up in semantics.

OK, ready?

"Taste is subjective."

Profound, right?

Thank you, thank you very much.

My Inspirational DVD set is available at dubyah-dubyah-dubyah.DOOFUS.com, and all proceeds go to... well, there are no proceeds, but again - semantics.
