The Provari uses what is called an internal PWM buck-boost converter, which they follow with a DC converter stage. Both of these things are used to give the Provari its deadly accuracy, and helps with battery efficiency.
The last thing I heard about the frequency used by the Provari's system, was 800Hz...which is why you hear a sound similar to white noise when you fire your atty, whereas the cheaper mods on the market sound like a rattlesnake. The cheaper mods use a much lower frequency of 33Hz, though some use closer to 100Hz.

Oh, by the way...

I hear you! I'm probably in the same boat you are as a horizontal coil is working just fine for me. I don't foresee myself building any other type coil anytime soon.

Sir Rod, next assignment. What method does ProVape use in their Provaris to deliver power to your atty? And what frequency is used?

Speaking of.........We have kitten-mail coming in a couple days!

So excited!! Yes I am!

I have one similar to that, but Sera, my kitty, is indifferent to it. Sometimes she sits on it, then a month will go by when she doesn't even look at it. She never goes in the hidey hole, but she was an adult when I got her and passed the kitten exploration phase. Your girls will probably have more fun with it.

They'll prolly look at it and go hey.....that toilet paper tube is more fun, but we wanted to have it waiting for them when they come home. You know just to show them there's nothin' their daddies wouldn't do or get for them!

It's snowing all the way down to Miami!

I'm wondering if one cat sits on Charlie's shoulder and one sits on yours will your cat become a vaper?

I never vaped with Sakai on my shoulder, so I won't with kittens there either. Their health is vastly more important than mine!
