Correctamundo, on both kounts, Ms. Celot. But I do have the cap! (Thank you, East Coast bud.) It tiz brilliant work by you and POM both.

Where is the Winter man these daze?

I haven't talk to him in a long time. I can't recall if I have his email, if so, I should send him a hello. The last time we spoke he had taken stock of how much the forum was interfering with RL and took a break. I sometimes envy his resolve.

I would say order the new end cap and the spring comes with it. I would love if they got rid of the spring altogether. I have to stretch mine out once in a while and I always pull that darn thing out. Then squish it back into the end cap, which then means I have to stretch the spring trying very hard not to pull the spring out of the cap....

and around and around and around I go ROFLMAO!
Just curious about how often do you stretch the spring? I plan on replacing every 6 months. Do you stretch it sooner than 6 months when new?

I haven't touched the spring in my P3 Ti since I got it...must be almost 3 months now. IQ is still reading >80 so I've just left it alone.

Sent from my P3 Ti...

Gawd I do love herstory.

I never even noticed the ambigram. That's it. Stronger cheaters are on the list.

Kat! YOU'RE BRILLIANT!!! How'd you get that dang slug to move? THANK YOU! So, at this rate, we should have them by Christmas, I expect...

I guess you missed the lengthy discussions PoM and I had when we were trying to perfect the ambigram (long before the cap idea came up). Perhaps that's one reason you don't have a ProVarinati signature.

The caps & history (all of which I did watch progress) are absolutely marvelous. One is a permanent fixture on my (2.5!) Ti.

My pleasure, m'dear (m'darling?). As one is a permanent fixture on yours too, si? ;)

YLB? Isn't that what they are? It's a :danger: "You Lazy Ba$+ard" tank, if ever there was one! Why, it was MADE for me! Yes it was.

Sadly (or happily), I understand his thoughts all too well. Should you speak with him, pass on a simba-esque roar from his Provi ..... :)

I do have his address. I just sent him a hello from us.

Good memories.

And good "learnings", here - always. Since music was a major topic here earlier (thank you, Mowgli & TO), I'll (poorly) paraphrase a Springsteen song:
"We learned more from the P3-ECF-thread, baby, than we ever learned in school."

I just an email back from Praetor Lion! He said to tell everyone hello, although he may log on sometime and do so himself. I suggested he visit this thread first.

Starting my day with a smile. Thank you, Ms. Ocelot (calling you "The" always feels SO informal).

Have a great one, everybody. Weekend approaching.

With apologies for being late, Happy (belated) Vaperversary, @Pinggolfer and @rbrylawski ! Quite the accomplishment, gentlemen!

Ping, so glad you emerged from the penalty box without the opposing team having scored. Perhaps we should attach a tracking device to you, as an early warning system. :)

Here he is.

Your beloved Princess has a long arm, and she reached out and tapped me on the shoulder...

How are you all?

It is seriously good to see you here, Sir. As you can see, your legacy lives on (as it should), and you are never "forgotten". Nor is the other (just-for-the-record-and-I-hope-he-watches-sometimes).

@Baditude - Eddard popped in, as you can see. Maybe a short & small reunion this weekend? NO pressure, just sayin'.

Eddard, seriously - I wish I could hang around now but I can not. For whatever it's worth, and however long you're here, it really is nice to see you. :)

Be well, and I do hope our life paths cross at times. Here or wherever. Saludas, mi amigo. :toast:

(And thanks, TO!)

I stretched it when I first got it and have left it alone. My IQ hovers in the high 88 - 91 range. But I did order 5 springs from Provape to have on hand as replacements should I ever need 'em.

Where have you been young lady?? Huh? Where??

My, weren't you guys busy last night. When I opened the thread this morning and saw it had progressed 3 pages, I wondered what I had missed:

Firmware Updates
Bottom Caps
Springs
Egyptian Hands
Music, Music Music
And all hail some lion dude I don't know, but is clearly known and loved by many here, so hey Mr. Lion. I'm Sir Rod, Master of Lube (so dubbed by The Ocelot)!

Morning All. Happy Friday!

I received this album in a batch of records the day after I snapped a picture of The Eye from a movie on TV.
Two Eye events in two days. whatever.

I'm more of a Tales Of Mystery & Imagination or I Robot fan.

I Robot was excellent. My fave AP record was Pyramid.

What's par for the windmill?

It's still a par 3. Without windmill working our 4some plays it as a par2.

In the meantime, I have an observation: as much as we trust Our Precious Thrice to protect us from danger, there is a reason for the spring outside of conductivity. In the highly unlikely event that the battery should vent, the spring is designed to collapse. I don't think your FrankenSpring, albeit creative, would offer much protection. [HASHTAG]#justsaying[/HASHTAG].

What danger did it protect me from??

Just curious about how often do you stretch the spring? I plan on replacing every 6 months. Do you stretch it sooner than 6 months when new?

RB ordered a dozen springs. No wonder there is world wide shortage.

I pull mine every time I clean it.

:|

Do you only have to pull it once? At your age I'm thinking a lot more pulls. ;)

No they didn't score but I made them disappear with a click of the mouse.

And if you recall, I did try to warn y'all that he got out.

I'm out and on the loose.
