I am only concerned with two times in a 24 hour period...

Daytime and Nighttime.

Both of which require no watch!

Unfortunately, I have to live by a watch. Just about minute of the day is scheduled in my line of work. Someday, I hope to just need to know daytime and nightine. Even then, because I love ticking timepieces, I'll still love and buy watches. Yes I will!

Yes I dig, but I'll be a better golfer with the Omega on my wrist. Yes I would. If you paid $1,083 lots of people are overpaying. I have a old Bulova Accutron which still works great.

It was a blowout of this model. Sometimes, a watch buying opportunity comes along you simply can not pass up. This JeanRichard, was one of those opportunities! And it was well worth the original price. Yes it was. If I get around to it, I'll post some of my other watches. All top notch as you might expect from Sir Rod!

And good luck becoming a better golfer via the watch strapped to your wrist. LOL. Yes, good luck with that!

Ps: Maybe that Bulova is keeping you from the Seniors Tour!

I used to own a Timex. You know the ones. They got run over by trucks and still worked.

I don't wear watches or jewelry except my wedding ring. Anything around my wrist or neck bugs the heck out of me.

Ping, Rick is picking up his Ping golf clubs Sunday. :D
Just got the call that they are in but he is waiting till Sunday. I don't know how he can wait like that...

The heat and humidity have not been conducive to playing well. Today we are in the mid-80's with a nice breeze. Think I'm going to hop out for a quick nine, this afternoon.
How are we in the same state?
It's 91 hear right now with 97 for the high.

Adds new meaning to a quickie. Or a nooner. Good luck with your half round! Knock 'em straight!

SR, do you like watches? :)

I own two Seikos. Just regular, everyday $250 watches for functionality. I'm like Robin...I cannot wear jewelry. Bugs me too much. I tolerate a watch only because they are functional.

Um.......just a teensy tiny bit!

Lol, we're an eclectic bunch in this thread, aren't we? I like watches, too, but found that collecting ProVaris was cheaper. ;)

No question. I'm on a major watch forum and ECF. When Charlie looks over and sees me looking at watches, he rolls his eyes and reminds me I've blown my watch budget many times over. It would be far less expensive for me to collect Provari's as well. But there's just something about a shiny new watch on my wrist that is a major high for me. Yes it is!

I know what you mean. I used to work on large 4-5 year petrochem projects. At the end of a project, I used to buy a new watch. My first was an AP Royal Oak...it kept horrendous time but I loved wearing that watch. I still have it but it's in a safe deposit box in LA along with a couple of other nice pieces. I may bring them all back with me the next time I'm home. They aren't serving any good purpose sitting in the dark!
