I think I'm only about 206 pages behind at this point. Time to get caught up this weekend. :)

Happy holiday weekend
Good luck with that!!!

LOLz, Jim

PS Better get a screen and keyboard protector. There are a lot of laughs in those pages!

Best Wishes to You, Yours, and All of My Provi Family during the Holiday.

I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am. But as a cat lover, what your dad did defies words (none of them very nice, I'm afra80id to say).

Thank you, Sir Rod. To tell you the truth, it was her dying wish to have them cremated and buried with her. Last Wednesday, when we visited her in the hospital, she asked me to take up a collection to have it done. She knew she wasn't going home and didn't want her cats to have to live somewhere else as they were both over 13 and were with her since kittens. She was afraid for them. So when she died... The cost of cremating 2 cats was $800

Thank you for the additional explanation. I understand your dad did what your grandmother asked, but it still saddens me a lot. My father has asked me to do things for him when he passes away. I've said I'll do what he asked, and that gives him comfort. While I'm not going to explain what he asked for, I simply won't [can't] do it. I just wish those cats could have been given the opportunity to live out their lives, which for many cats can be much longer than 13 years.

No offense, but given some of us are cat lovers, this is one personal part of your loss I wish you hadn't shared with us.

Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
