This is a repaired unit that I purchased on my join date to this forum...

Returned, repaired, at no cost!!!

Thanks ProVape!

I THOUGHT you already had one. So you were just messing with us.

(I will refrain from repeating the word in my head right now).

;)

Not sure I follow DP...

I have had this one since day one.

It had a display flicker, and I sent it to be fixed.

It returns home to it's Ti Mini Sister, P3 Beta, P3 Ti, Dragon Mini and the list goes on...

Sorry to have caused you any stress.

LOLz, Jim

So you WEREN'T trying to make us (me) think that a Radius had arrived, somehow?

If not, shame on you.
Hey, The timing was Perfect...

And who knows, ProVape coulda used a Radius to protect and cushion my Precious Ti.

But, Alas, They didn't.

Too Funny though!

Crazy like a Fox!!!

Congrats!

Thanks, Astro. After quitting the Black and Mild cigars in one day and switching to vaping in April of last year, I finally feel I've found "it." The big issue for me was not the mod. When the P3 came out, IMHO, it leap frogged everything else. My problem was always the tanks. For one reason or another, I just could not find anything easy to use that didn't leak, burn through juice, was impossible to clean, etc. until I discovered the Kabuki.

I've spent a lot of money to be sure, but I don't think I'm going to have spend a ton more. I don't see how it could get much better than P3+Kabuki or Radius+Kabuki.

Popped in to the Kabuki thread and saw a reference to a 1.0 ohm coil. Of course, I've already forgotten who makes it ! I'll go back and see ... 1.0 would work for me, I think.

I had a feeling you would be one of the three winners, SR. And I must say that I'm just delighted!!!

I know you've answered this for me already, but I have chemo brain. What's the name of the glass thingier that sits on the KFL+ base, and where do I get one? It's that really pretty tank that you and Ping have ... TY!

I know Ping already answered you, but you can also buy the Plasma Tank at Boulder Vapor House. That's where I got my first one. My second one, I bought directly from Bert, the creator of the Plasma Tank.

Oh RB was a winner. Congratulations RB.

Little bird, it's the plasma tank by trippy tips. I bought mine from Wyoming vapor.

Thanks Ping. I was truly floored to win one. Yes I was. So, I wound up buying a Kabooki P3 to go with it.

Today was fun in the Radius thread ... til that one guy went all in with a huge Provarinati hate post when he didn't win.

I am looking forward to hearing the bashing from folks who don't own one.

Congrats again SR ... I can't believe someone from our rather small P3 thread won.

Cheers

Thanks Willy!

still, the Radius gives good battery life, reliability and portability ... the P3 is a tad long in 650 mode.

I had ordered a Radius from my local Vape Shop and I was all prepared to get it from them Monday, until I won one. My reason for wanting one has absolutely nothing to do with it being a 40 watt device. I vape at 10 watts and I don't see that changing much (though 'ya never know what might happen in the future). For mods, I had a 2.5 in my vape drawer and my daily use P3. I was planning on selling the 2.5 (more on this below) and getting another P3, until the Radius was announced. I've never had a box mod, but if'n I ever got one, I'd want it to be a Provari. Lately, 18490 batteries aren't lasting a full day. And I had recently bought about 4 of the newer AW's. So, I was looking for a 18650 solution, but don't really like how tall a P3 would be in 18650. So, the form factor of the Radius will be absolutely perfect for me. It's small, should feel good in my hand, is Provape reliable and to be honest, just looks super cool.

I will buy one for the short form factor and 18650 battery life.

Now to just decide on color?!?

Just join the Cabernet Red club and be done with it. Geesh..........

Like Zen? (below) :)

I must say even though I had already ordered one, Zen's review was simply drool inducing and made me even happier I was getting a Radius.

@rbrylawski, update on your brother? We're all still stormin' the heavens!

Brother Update:

They found out what pathogen invaded his blood and they are pushing massive doses of a very specific antibiotic into him around the clock. The prognosis at this point is good and they even talked about him going home in a few days. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Now the 2.5 thing. I posted this in the Radius thread earlier:

We've been having big problems with our Verizon Fios services since our entire condo switched to Fios last week. We had no TV last night or phone or internet, so we had a Verizon Senior Tech here figuring out what's wrong. The technician noticed I was vaping on my P3 and said he had tried vaping, but it didn't work out for him. So he's still smoking and wishes he could have the success with Vaping I've had.

So, I asked him what he tried and he said some Ego thing and he hated it. He paid a lot of money for an Ego system, only to be let down and ultimately it broke. Then he asked where I bought my set up from. I told him and when he learned how much it can all cost, he looked sad and said he simply couldn't afford it. But he wants to be around for his wife and children.

So, when he left our condo after more than 6 hours this afternoon, he had (free of charge - Pay it Forward I say - Yes I do) the following:

1. One Provari 2.5 (with box and manual in immaculate, it doesn't have a scratch on it condition)
2. An Aspire Nautilus Tank
3. Two AW 18490 Batteries
4. A Battery Charger
5. Two boxes of BVC coils

If this gift doesn't save him from the Stinkies, nuttin will and maybe just maybe he'll be around to see his kids not only graduate from HS, but get married and raise families of their own.

It seems that Bert teamed up with a machinist in CA (I think) to make the PlasmAir. It's a KFL+ V2 base that's been modded to increase airflow a bit (authentic) with a Bert-made lovely bell cap. The cap comes in 3 sizes: 5, 3-3.5 and 2-2.5 ml. I couldn't find just the cap, so I ordered one of these. Perhaps this is what the Plasma Tank is? Anyway, I'm trying to simplify vaping; it's become too consuming. Just want to use my ProVape and BB mods and call it a day. I'm so hoping that the simplicity of the KFL+ with a bit more airflow, combined with the elegance (and top fill-ability) of the Bert tank will do it.

Wow LB, they're rather pricey, but I know they're more airy than a KFL+ and Plasma Tank. Here's a link to just the Plasma Tank if you want one:

RB, what wonderful news that the docs have isolated the bacteria causing such havoc with your brother! And I understand that HB's Dad is doing better, against all odds. I'm over the moon!

Thanks. I'm so relieved. Truth be told, I haven't cried that much in many years. My brother and I were not close growing up and through most of my adult life. Over the last 4 or 5 years, we've become incredibly close and we talk almost every day. Some may remember that when Charlie and I got married last April, my brother and his fiance got married with us at the same time, in a double ceremony. After all these years of not being close and then becoming so close, it would have been beyond devastating if I lost him.

I tried to find the Plasma Tank on the Boulder Vapor House website but couldn't find them in the rebuildables section. :(

I did find this tank and am considering ordering it. I like the idea of a bit more airflow. The site only showed the 5ml in stock, though. The others indicate preorder.

Thanks RB, but when I click on the Plasma Tank or Plasma Tank Fumed Gas Special Edition, and attempt to buy, I get an error 404 - the requested page does not exist?

Sorry about that. I'd give them a call either tomorrow or Monday. They may just be out of them. Bert makes them by hand blown glass, so quantities are often limited.

I'm sorry but i find it comical. The one person who constantly posted how overpriced provape was and how china was way ahead of the USA in mods is gifted a radius. When he won the 15th million post contest he was clear about how that he wasn't going to take the P3. All i can say there are other loyal Provari fans who are deserving of a radius. My :2c:
Ping ping ping. I read the same threads and posts you did and he never made that claim in a general sense. Always as it pertained to his needs, his budget and if provape made a mod that fit his needs he would get one if he could afford it. The P3 didn't fit his wish list at all and that's fine. When Vape360 announced the radius was 30w+ he was right up there wishing for one with the rest of us.

I had the good fortune to win one so I made the offer that started it all to help him get his wish. No one else had to jump in but they did. USM is not a bad guy and is a provari fan like the rest of us, just more realistic in what he can afford for what he needs. If you can temper your zealousness you would probably see that.

If you must get upset over it take it out on me. It was my idea to extend the offer to help in the first place. I like ya ping you just got to relax and step down of your soap box once in a while.
