I am confused. We all know that this is not a new thing, but still ... What is the relationship between ohms and watts? Here's what I'm trying to understand, because that may have been the wrong question. Kangar recommends somewhere around 20-30 watts for their .5 ohm coil. I'm vaping a .5 coil (which my P3 says is really .58) at 14.8 watts (2.9 v) and it produces a lovely vape. I read that the Nauti 1.6 coil should be vaped at about 8-10 watts. Why? What's the relationship, and why those parameters?

I'm counting on all y'all who promised that a) there are no stupid questions, and b) you will answer stupid questions a though they aren't :)

I'm sure someone will offer a more technical response, but I've noticed that Kangar's recommendations are always off for my vaping style - either too high or too low. I wonder if it might be a difference in wicking materials?

ETA: See? I knew someone would have a better answer.

After many hours of banging my head against the wall (Concrete) I have now got a hole in the wall and a decision. On the Radius Or another P3.

1. I never use over 15 Watts
2. Box mods feel too much like a pack of cigs in my hand.

So it’s going to be a P3.

Back to the wall to decide if it will be:
  1. Ice finish
  2. TI
HELP I’m getting a headache and another hole in the wall.
I may very well end up with a Ti P3 before a Radius myself. I am usually 7-11 watts, and that range is accommodated very nicely with the energy in an 18350 cell, so for me, the Ti P3 would be more compact, and probably lighter than the Radius. Blast you for putting this line of thinking into my head! But Yes, Of all my ProVari's, the Ti versions are over the top, my favorites.

Sounds like a very good choice to me...

We as Provi Vapers have so much choice right now!!!

Whatever vaporizer is chosen is a Real Winner, From the V2.5, P3, to the latest Radius.

All a home run in my book!

LB, I would be glad to bore you with the technical stuff with ohms, watts, and volts if you'd like. But the bottom line is Kanger's recommendation doesn't mean squat. Maybe it's useful as a starting point for the device but the best setting for you is where it tastes/feels the best to you. No other setting is important.

Oops! Too many Mojitos that night and too many files with the same name. This is the most recent one:

I'm guessing not ENUF Mojitos here, or stronger specs needed, but I do not see the Mistress of Mischief, Mirth & Mayhem and the Master of Mood-Swings, Squire to that Dame whatshername.

And where's the Reo table? I wanna dance.

(brilliant, Ms. Celot. love it!)

I also want to hear more about the colors when people actually have them in hand - white included.

You know, the polycarbonate is textured. Anything textured you hold in your hand will trap dirt. Not sure I'd want to see a pure white one - I'm worried enough about the translucent Ghost White (but willing to take a chance).

It's dishwasher-safe, no worries there.
