I know it may be mostly in my mind, but the Boost offered by my P3 seems to give me a better over-all vaping experience than my 2.5's. That and at a single glance I get alot of information off of the screen keeps me grabbing my P3 Stealth Ti over my old faithfuls all the time. Having said that, I still use my 2.5's every day as I have them loaded with other flavors when I want a bit of a change from my ADV.

I agree with every point. And same here with keeping a bunch of flavors going at the same time.

Some other things that make me prefer the P3 are: The ability to be whatever size you want that day, anything from a 2.5 to a 2.5 mini to a too-long standard. And even though I have a good stock of button tops, it's really nice to be able to use my other flat top batteries.

As for the P3 being too complicated, it takes one press to see the battery level when I'm on my way out the door. Much quicker and easier than the 2.5 system. But even after all that, I still like my 2.5s a lot and they are better than most any other mod I own. Thing is, when you're trying to rate the various Provari models you soon reduce yourself to picking nits.

With all the boo hooing over the demise of the 2.5... I've completely switched over to the P3 for my carry vape.

Why?

It's a better vape.

More consistent in wattage mode, with boost to help with that. Easier to check the basic info and change power, once you have it set up the way you like. After having bought in to the whole "the 2.5 is Sooo much easier" thing for quite a while myself too.

It's not.

If all you are doing is checking info and changing power the P3 is easier to use.

The Radius might make the cut if they came out with a side by side.

Not holding my breath on that, but the P3 vapes just as well soo..

byeBye 2.5...

:D:shock::evil:
Can someone tell me why it would vape better in wattage mode. Still trying to wrap my head around watts/volts and why one would be better. I understand the reasons for wattage being better as far as changing atomizers, but is it actually a more consistent vape?

Click on this link and it does a better job of explaining it than I could:

Watts to me is a bit wonky. Maybe cause I used a mech for so long and now a 2.5 Vari. I like my volts. I can adjust between 4v to 4.2 (this is my mood range). All my builds are 1.5ohm 2.5/3 diameter coil depending on atty. When I want more heat - up it goes to 4.2. With watts my vape can get anemic? Whatever - maybe I just dont get the watts craze but I trust my volts or mechs (mechs is a different animal, yes I know...my builds most certainly was not 1.5 but rather .6 or dual coils twisted or parallel).

All roads lead to (R)ohm.

Ohm, ohm on the range
where Provari and Radius play
and no one regrets
their last cigarette
and the clouds...

aren't as important as flavor, since we're tootle puffers.

Right in one, it's a more constant vape.

I used to be a volts guy, but there is some variation in the vape as the resistance moves around.

With VW, the device is making adjustments to maintain whatever wattage you have set, in response to those inevitable resistance fluctuations.

I still like a device that gives me the voltage info (like the P3 does) but have switched over to variable wattage while vaping.

I noticed I preferred the vape I was getting from the Radius, over the 2.5. The only variables there were boost and VW.

Part of it is boost, I'm sure, but part of it is the smoothness of vaping with VW.

YMMV

That picture brought back a flood of memories. California black and yellow plates. Sigh.

So cool! I don't live in California anymore or I'd get them too....except...."legacy?" i haz feel old. :(

Yea, that's what they calling them. Basically just a run of the mill environmental plate. But they do like to remind me I'm old it seems.
