I like the spring-less end cap. The design on the tube is pretty too.

High watts, low ohms......... My poor tootle puffin' self is being left behind. :(
I'll be right here with you.

I got years worth of tootle puffing coils and mods, you won't be alone. It's nice to see this one hit though, it will certainly fill a need.

I don't begrudge those wanting this device. I am just sad that it looks like they are discontinuing the much loved 2.5 tootle puffing device.

I really do like my 15 watt "classic". They even upped the amps from 3.5 to 4.5 on that one so it should do better with builds that are closer to 1Ω.

Me too. I use it the most out of all my ProVari's. But I have enough 2.5's to last 2 life times. My kids are going to have a fit, when they find the shoe box under my bed (when that day comes).

I've found I prefer my coils to be 2.0 or higher. I like a cooler vape and I like the longevity of the battery at that range.
Personally I shoot for 1.6-1.8 because that lets me run at about 3.7V + or -

Yay! I gots company! :D

Count me in the tootle puffing group as well. For the first time, Provape came out with an admittedly great device that I don't need. And that's OK. They need to sell to different users, with different needs than me. I do love that new end cap, without a spring. If'n I ever decide I need a new tube mod to replace my P3, the Procyon would be the one I'd buy. Even though I'll never use the 50 watts.

One thing I didn't see mentioned in Provape's site on this new device is about software updates. I'm guessing it's like the P3 and will need to either take a trip to the Provape Spa or to a Provari dealer?

It's pretty though. I like the patterns intermixed with the satin and shiny and I do hope Provape sells a bazillion of them! Yes I do!

You're gonna laugh....

2.0 at 3.5v is my sweet spot.

That is close to my preferred as well....as my nauti's are usually 1.8 ohm. There are other vapers that pursue mods with true step down....we are not alone.

Though we rarely chat about the Classic -- it sure is a beauty. Love the similar to original mini styling without the extra rings/bands....and have grown to prefer the similar display/menu system of the P3/Radii.

The Procylon is up there for me on the aesthetic value -- very classy in the pics.
