By luck I got a secondhand Provari mini a couple of months ago and a Kanger Emow Mega.

Nothing like using the Kabuki in terms of flavour and it leaks...

I have the P3 adaptor for the Kabuki but it will not work on the mini?

I persuade a friend to buy a P3 after I got one and tested both Kabuki's on his P3 since mine packed up yesterday and they work so no problem with the tanks or coils.

Thanks again. Sean
This is sounding more and more like a problem with the Provari board. You're not getting normal error messages which should pretty much cover all problems you might incur in the normal range of operations. You have thoroughly tested and checked out your Kabukis and eliminated them as the source of the problem, and you have checked and tested your batteries and know they are working correctly. You have cleaned and checked your internal connection points.

There's nothing else left to diagnose, it really looks to be an internal problem with the P3. I see a long journey back to the States in its future, sorry.

But kudos for a brilliant job of testing all possibilities of failure before submitting a help ticket. This is when it's nice to have a back-up Provari waiting in the wings, so it looks like it's time to put that mini to work.

If your mini is one with the upgraded top cap you should be fine with the Kabuki, but if it's the slant top you will need the 510 connection.

Thanks Scotdc, done what I can. The only other thought I have to avoid sending to the USA and cost plus delay is to get a update from v36 to V37 on the software?

Then again I don't want to waste more money on a possible fix in the UK with an update that will not not work if it's more than software and the actual guts of the electrics etc. All the best. Sean

Hmmm.... I have a gut feeling the update might be a lost cause if indeed the electronics are failing. If you think about, shipping might not be much more than paying a shop for an update on the software. If you ship it to Provape, I believe they will do the update for free and check out your board at the same time.

Just a thought.

I often read things backwards, so I need some clarification on this. P3 - 510 tank adapter

Will it allow me to use my P3 Kabuki on a 2.5 mini?
It's supposed to. One of ours worked (haven't tried the ones that came with Ti Kabuki's) but not with ProVape's beauty ring.

Looks like a problem with length of contact pin (here we go again). We solved that problem by getting our V2's fitted with P3 connector's.

Now that you mention it, will test the other two tomorrow.

Ok, testing done.

We have three 510-P3 adapters and the results are the same for all of them.

No connection on two P3's or a V2. Made connection on one V2.
UPDATE: 510-P3 adapter connection issues had nothing to do with devices, rather it was the tanks. Made connection with GMZ but not SS. I am not going to test the other seven Kabuki's, they are all in their place and I am tired of this. Went through a extreme amount of crap when the Kabuki came out before getting real expensive tanks to operate with real expensive devices and now going through it AGAIN with adapters. Yes, Zen made it right but it really sucked getting there and I don't know if I have enough fight to go through it again for adapters we probably won't end up using anyway. It would just be nice if they worked and we could count on them if want to use them. After all, we paid for them!

Between the two of us, that's five.

Think about it.

Maybe we should take a poll: "Does anyone have a 510-P3 adapter that works without issues?"

And let me add...

Forget about it working with a P3 Nautilus Tank.

Just my findings, Jim

Thank you very much for taking the time to test them out. I was hoping I could run my P3 Kabuki on a 2.5 mini, but I guess not. You just saved me some money.

Made connection with my GMZ Kabuki as well as Jackie's.

Maybe I should start taking notes and keep a log: "Kabuki's 510-P3 adapter doesn't work with." Or should I title it the other way around? "Kabuki's 510-P3 adapter DOES work with."

So far, it's 50/50. Works with GMZ but not SS
