Hey everyone talking (writing) about the P3 and the pin, I'm seriously not trying to be a Richard, but just what are you people talking about? What pin? The contact pin on the top? Adjusting it? Jackie and I got our first P3's 16Jun and she's been using hers nonstop. I got a spare P3 on 21Jan and just starting the first one again last week. Neither of us have ever messed with the pin(s). Are you telling me they are adjustable or they move on their own?

What's up? Please explain!

The pin in the P3, Radius and now Procyon is semi-floating. If you look at it, you'll see an o-ring around it and that gives the pin some adjustability, which helps given there are so many different variables with the pins in attys. I've never had to adjust the pin in any of my devices to get it to work with any of my tops, but can see with all the variables out there, it could need to be adjusted for some.

Really? Hmmm... Here I thought that o ring was to keep juice from possibly getting in there - DUH! So, how does one adjust it? With a screwdriver? Doesn't that run the risk of gouging it? It doesn't just, "float up" on it's own? I'm intrigued.

Well, one isn't supposed to need to adjust it at all. It floats, just enough to accept varying atty's. If I had one that required adjusting, a ticket would be opened with Provape for a return trip to the Provape Spa.

As I don't own either of those 3, 'Brow, would this be the exact same on the flat topped 2.5s? I'm thinking it is.

Are they no little red o-rings available as replacements?

Yes indeed. I forget about those as I don't own one. But you'll note it's definitely different than a regular 2.5 with the slant top of yesteryear......

You have to buy them on your own, unless you send it in. I shouldn't say that, I'm just assuming that's how one would get a new one from ProVape. The size is 004 ProVape uses silicone but CS told me Buna is acceptable. I know longer have the link to the site on Amazon that CS sent me as I bought 100 of them.

Since the P3 had been out, I've read about it so much that I thought it was common.

I'm preparing my box to send in my Radius, blue 2.5 mini & the P3 will probable get dropped in there too.

I don't think it's common at all. I'm glad you'll be sending yours in for a treatment.

Since I've had my P3, it's always been in 18490 mode at home. My 2.5s and Radius are my out and about devices. Occasionally the P3 goes in the car, but that's it. Perhaps just leaving it in the same size makes it consist.
For me, it doesn't matter what size battery I was using or what atty is on it- I still get problem- output too high/low.
And it happens without having to remove/replace the atty. I can be sitting here vaping & everything is fine- 5 min later....problem.

The longest I've gone without this happening is maaaaaaybe 2 hrs & that may be stretching it.

That doesn't sound right at all. The only time I've seen a warning is when I clicked on the triangle with the exclamation point it it, but I figured it was just an example of what I might see if there was a problem. There's no way 11 watts with a 2.5 coil could be output too high.

NO it doesn't come with the P3. The P3 end cap just wasn't in the pic. Here's my P3 end cap.

Next thing you know, people will be contacting ProVape saying they didn't get the "new end cap" on their P3.....

Again NO it doesn't come with it!!!!! :)

Sorry. I wasn't keeping up properly. Happens late night for me!

My problem with the Radius pin was I would get an OP reading and would have to use a screwdriver to fiddle with the pin, I never had that output problem. That's an issue all right. It's so hard to send one back though and have to do without. Hopefully they'll be mercifully quick for you.
