Hey thanks for the link. I'm still on vacation, but will be back home and get my P3 on Wednesday. I just downloaded the manual to my iPad and read it. Seems pretty straight forward and easily laid out. I can't wait till Wednesday now!

I've had mine for a few hours and it's already pretty easy to navigate. I don't understand the people that say it's hard to get used to. It's way easier in hand than just reading the manual implies but that's what manuals are for I guess. I had 95% of it figured out within 5 minutes of playing with it.

I did play with a beta at my BM and it seemed pretty easy to navigate. But think reading the manual will make my first night with my P3 even easier!

No. It shows only the watts you're set at.
And same goes for voltage mode.
HB, do you have the upgraded OS?

Because mine does indeed show both.

Depending on which mode your in, that mode displays in the upper left corner, then below that the other mode and your battery percentage will alternate between button presses.

Negative, sir...
I'm still running v31...
I just sent one of my v2.5 Mini P's up to the Mother Ship for repairs...the thought of sending my P3 Beta in just feels wrong.
I'll update eventually, but for now I am running what I've loosely dubbed "an extended field test of Beta v31"...hahaha maybe I'll stumble across something valuable to Provape...hell, I owe them at least THAT much.

Check with you guys, is this normal? The Center Contact Pin seem to be scratched and it looks like it's getting thinner.

You definitely should not be seeing little flakes of brass...
Please make sure you are not wrenching your atomizer on too tightly...because looking at this picture, I have to assume that you are.
You should only be tightening it on, until it stops.

The pin shouldn't be getting shorter...
I suspect what you are seeing is the pin not returning to normal height, as it is spring loaded, or enabled with some movement, to compensate for the different lengths of different atomizer contact pins.

I would definitely send Provape a ticket. Especially if you are not wrenching your atomizers on super tightly...because this is not normal.

Actually, Sir Underscore, it's 'Gramma'.

And whilst the correct usage of the ellipsis is 3 evenly spaced dots, when in quotes, it must be "....".

:rules:by KD ;)

I think DPLongo got it right! ........................................................................... < whoops! >

'Grammar' or 'Gramma' depends on whether one is talking about word usage, or a person.

As for 3 vs 4 dots, I will assume you are simply poking fun, as neither of the following sites show any such example:
Ellipsis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ellipsis

I don't want my semi-fun correction (caused by the mis-spelled 'grammer') to make anyone unhappy, Lord knows I make many mistakes all the time.

Ya, I think i wrench my atomizer too tight.
This it the first time I own a Provari and they did say 'self-adjusting center contact pin'.
When I wrench my kayfun Lite Plus tightly, there is still some gap between the KFL+ and P3, so I wrench more thinking it's new.
I did contact the shop I got it from but seem ignore or pretend it's normal.

NICE! And welcome back, PC. All is well, yes?

One week post-op today, saw the Ortho today, and am to start PT in one week. Sling to be used at night and as desired for comfort, and none of the repairs are fragile, so my rehab is strictly dependant on pain. Am on less meds today than I was on last July (before the right TKR) so even while not completely rehabbed on the knee yet, other than getting stabbed in the shoulder when I do too much am already doing better :) Thanks for asking.

Yeah you need to go lightly!
Be careful!

Also, you can TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK:
http://ukvapers.org/Thread-How-to-shorten-the-Kayfun-Lite-centre-pin

I've done it on all my Kayfuns, as the 510 pin on my v2.5 Provari Minis does not adjust.

I would recommend following the directions on that link, but don't file the insulator as much...just enough that your Kayfun center pin is flush with the threaded 510 connector on the bottom of the Kayfun base.

Granted, I know you "shouldn't have to modify anything" when using a new device, but the problem here is not the P3...the problem is how far the center pin sticks out on the Kayfun...

Peter, I was absolutely just playing! You are correct with the spelling, and the dots! :D I am fairly certain you didn't make anyone unhappy at all, hon.

Glad to hear you're doing better!
