I recommend Briggs & Straton. It's the only tested & true method I'm aware of so far.

Well, it sure is difficult to argue the merits of a good Briggs & Straton - for sure.

I'm thinking my Simplicity snow-blower might be able to do a number too. It DOES have a B&S engine on it, so...

Thanks, Ozzy! Vroom-vroom, you cocky Provaris, you...

Well maybe do what I'll do. I have two 2.5s and I'll sell one to help fund the P3 and keep one as backup.

I'm actually going to sit back and wait for a bit. For starters, I love my black ones. Satin's cool too, but given a preference...

IF I was about to jump in mods though, and was trying to decide what, I'd be waiting for the P3 without question. And I'm just guessing that there might be one or two people who fit that description floating around.

The High Watters have already moved on, but I'm curious to see how many thousand P3's fly into public hands. My guess, many. Time will tell!

Torn a lot of people ive spoken to are in my boat.
Love provari because they dont die. So we have one..... or two, a few mechs and one or more 3oW devices or more. Mine became my all day device the day i got it because if i want to drip, i just change the top, but ususlly while on the go there is an RTA on it. Hell, my taifun is at 16W on it. Or for short trips my magma since its a high capacity dripper.
That leaves those of us who absolutely love the brand ( admitted fanboism ) feeling a bit torn, were hoping to be able to fill that all day do anything with device with a device that has the durability and indestructibility of provari.
Don't take this as knocking the brand its just my point of view and the point of view of several other vapers I've spoken too since the release.
Yes i will get one assuming its no higher than a 250 price point, but ill be selling my standard rather than my DNA device.

I did a lil reading thru this thread, so I have to ask now.

Whats the ETA on thes P3?? And how much is one thinking it will cost?

also will be able to use v2.5 tanks and cartos and what not on the p3? And batteries too??
The ETA for public release or price has not been disclosed yet. All we have is speculation. It will have 510 threading so all 510 toppers will work.
The speculative price appears to be 250( ish ) again the price is purely speculative so take that with a grain of salt.

ETA on P3 is probably less than 45 days, as vendors were to evaluate the P3 for 30 days and then give ProVape feedback so changes could be made before a general release. I doubt we will see any changes to the beta design.

Cost will be more than $140 and less than $500. ;)
Any tank that will work on the 2.5 will work on the P3, and any battery will work on the P3.

ETA: No one's sure, but it's looking like 6-8 weeks-ish. It all depends on the beta testing period & if any changes get made to it.

Cost: Don't go there. ;) That discussion already caused some ridiculousness. A lot of speculation, nothing's set & no one knows for sure at this point.

As of right now, it does have a 510 connection adapter, so all standard 510 attys will work with it just like the 2.5. The battery cap threading is the same as well. It will take all the batteries you can use in the 2.5, plus more.

local shop has a P3.

I'll be going in to check it out soon.

the owner and the guy I talked to both like it.

negatives I've heard so far are menu (reddit posters who have tried it) and wattage limit (my concern). guy I talked to last night simply said it was a "solid device," and he's normally a mech user.

A little side tidbit about the P3 chip. It's a 32-bit ARM system with 128kb memory running 5 million instructions per second. Anyone who says the P3 is outdated doesn't understand what's under the hood. We are not aware of any electronic cigarette on the market with that kind of processing power.:)

I've been on a vacation from the boards for a while... Needless to say, I am excited about the P3!

And... What tha bajeezus do you need a 32 Bit ARM processor for? LoL!! You can run full on complex operating systems with that kind of horsepower...

And the award for most ridiculously overpowered E-Cig on the planet goes to: ProVari 3!

Awesome... From one tech geek to another! LoL

So I understand that release dates and price are still up in the air at this point...

But I do have a question I hope you will be willing to answer...

Can we expect the P3 to be available online BEFORE Black Friday? Or I guess Cyber Monday?

I don't know the answer to your question, but even though I'm not a betting man, I'd be willing to bet it's going to be a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS for the good folks at ProVape this holiday season! ChaChing.........$$$$$

Getting away from the power and price discussion, I'm curious as to what other top caps are going to be made available and when we might see them.

I'm curious about that too. I use Protanks, and they'd look pretty funny on a flat top mod.

I'd be willing to bet, that Kanger is very privy to Provape's design...
I'm sure they have a complimenting piece for the P3. Be it a redesigned section of the Protank (1,2,3,4 whatever) or a new tank altogether...

Shoot, they might even be the first to start the new P3 threaded thing!!!
