What I'd like to know and why this IQ thingy is such a mystery to me, is how can you have an IQ reading of 92 when the battery is depleted?

I believe IQ represents the quality of the connectivity and amount of resistance in the circuit.
I don't think the charge level of the battery has much if anything to do with it. Although the internal resistance of the battery does.

IQ is just a measurement of the resistance in the circuit path, which includes the positive post to the battery, the spring to the battery, the threads between extension tubes, and the internal resistance of the battery. It doesn't matter how charged the battery is for this measurement, since it's measuring resistance in ohms (presumably milliohms), not voltage.

The battery percentage meter calculates battery remaining voltage, atomizer resistance, and IQ, then learns how fast your battery depletes based on all that information to give you a percentage remaining. An 18350 will deplete faster than an 18650; a 1000MAh will deplete faster than a 4000MAh. That's why you get a ?? for battery percentage when you change batteries - it hasn't learned the new battery yet.

I'm still waiting for the photo of it in the pill bottle, inside the ziplock, with the note with the date of last use.

Just for you!!
