I was dreading changing the wick. I pulled out the old, burned the coil a few times to get the gunk off, made sure it was glowing the way it should, put a new piece of cotton in, primed it. put it all back together, refilled the tank and let it sit for about 5 minutes before I starting vaping. And then I realized it was just so simple and it worked so well. So Sir Rod can be taught new tricks. Yes he can!
Absolutely. Sir Rod will find he can do it in his sleep after a half dozen times. Yes he will! Bronze tip [HASHTAG]#236[/HASHTAG]: Cut one end of your spent wick off close to the coil before removing so you have to drag less wick out of the coil and prevent deformity.

You will find what wrecks your coil first is it will become a little deformed. The end wraps will loosen up and separate, etc.. Comes from yanking and cranking on it. The coil itself will last forever (ask Oce). After awhile the coil gets deformed enough that you don't get that inside-out glow. I just make another coil. Takes five minutes.:)

Bronze, maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but either in the bazillion videos I watched on coil building or maybe here on ECF, I thought I heard darker juices can be thicker, gunking up coils faster? Maybe I've got it wrong, but it has kind of stuck in my pea-sized brain.
It's one of those typical vape topics where you ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers. :)

I spoke to the owner of the vape shop in Reiserstown re the P3 upgrade. He said that ProVape hasn't given the go ahead to update yet, but expects to get the ok today or tomorrow. He also said that all the folks in the shop have upgraded and love the enhancements. I'm going on Monday. Woot!
I'm in DC area also.. Let me know how it works/price.

May have to drive up there this weekend. :)

Thanks

I learned this the hard way on the Sub Tank Mini when I went and yanked the old cotton and ripped the coil off the deck while doing so. Thanks for the reminder. I also figured out that I can use my tweezers and hold the coil with them while removing the cotton.

Ah yes, the 10 people, 10 different answers reality!

Yikes... Just googled them.. 2hrs from me.. :/

Not exactly close ... I think it'll take an hour or so without traffic to get there. Better than sending them in! And I learned they carry pretty good stuff. Wish I hadn't :)

What's money for, if not to get us toys we's enjoy? Huh? What?? But in all seriousness, even though I like the Stealth, it won't be ordered anytime soon, that's for sure. I'd need to sell my 2.5, which does just sit in my vape drawer and is really only there as backup should something ever happen to my P3.

And if you did, your Ss could back up the Stealth - or vice versa :)

You, Mowgli, are an enabler!

Well if I do, I'm going to take that as a compliment! Yes I am!!

And that's how it would roll. Stealth when the mood strikes and SS when another mood rolls around! Just livin' life large on the Provari-go-Round!!
