I hear you Bronze ... Toronto is huge, 3million+ people ... however, I've never seen another vaper with a Provari, just the two co-workers I converted and they love their Provaris.

The closest update option is that pawn shop 75 miles outside of the city
Dusty and Q live in (near) Toronto and they have Provaris. P2's anyway.

What % was the P2.5?

The conspiracy theorist in me tells me ProVape is one of the companies that are already privy to the FDA's deeming regulations. We know the FDA keeps bringing up "dosage" and "metering" - perhaps a puff counter would satisfy some part of the soon-to-be-released regulations? Humm...

I'm thinking you are right. Not a cloud chasing mod, numerous safety features and a record of reliability.

It's Robin's Rule.....everything I touch....
A few that know me can vouch for that (looks around for Bronze)
I am one of the few that have broken a ProVari

twice

P3 <~~~in the mailbox ready to be picked up

I sort of came close the other day. Blemini Cricket, my 2.0 mini first ProVari love, fell off the top of my car onto the garage floor. The top cap partially popped out. There was no other damage, not even to the glass of the Rüzgar (hurray for metal sleeves). Of course it worked fine and after a couple of hard slams upside down on a padded top card table it looked fine too.

Must be the week for it. I just tried to remove an atty from one of mine and the top ring and center ring/screw thingy came off with the atty. Unscrewed it, but of course the center ring/screw thingy didn't unscrew. Got that off and tried to put the two pieces back on the P3. Not happening. The center thingy won't go flush. Aargh!

Mine often come apart. I screw the little center ring on, tighten it with a dime and then screw on the outer ring.

Maybe Dave mailed it from home, since he was up anyway.

I sure hope you are right.

From what I've read recently, I gather there was a P3 update during one of my absences. It now has a puff counter, goes down to .5Ω and has a low battery blink, correct? Is there anything else?

Yes some P3's show the battery as being empty when they still are good. They are fixing that issue as well as some other minor issues.

That's why I own so many of these setups ... a very reliable awesome vape they are.

They work so well, I have no desire to try and find a better setup, and literally, you are looking at the cost of Batteries, Kanthal, Cotton and eJuice for many years of enjoying the same solid vape.

Take things one step further and develop some DIY ADVs and stockpile 10s of thousands ml in eliquid ... and nothing short of an actual Nuclear Apocalypse could damper my daily Provari/Kayfun vape :vapor:
Except maybe the inability to charge batteries? ;)

The State of Confusion
Good evening,

We are pushing out a new update to the P3. We are doing free updates to those that want to arrange to send their devices in to the ProVape spa or if you have a local dealer that has a programmer they can also update devices.

Here is a list of what has been updated:

* Support for .5 ohm tanks - The P3 now supports tanks down to .5 ohms.

* Low Battery Alert - When the device gets down to 18% left in the battery, the light will slowly flash yellow to alert you that it's getting low. (Many users requested we bring this back from the 2.5)

* CheckAll (1 second) - The CheckAll feature now has the option to set it to 1 second. This allows for a quick look at your settings without leaving the display on for 5 or more seconds. (Another user suggested feature)

* Battery Filtering - We have added some additional battery filtering to help with some problems reported by users saying the battery was empty when there was still energy left. Having the new spring and making sure all your connections are clean and tight is the main fix for this, but extra filtering will also help.

* Money Saved Counter - This new feature allows you to set the price of a pack of cigarettes and the P3 will keep track of: How many cigarettes avoided, puff count, and how much money you have saved on cigarettes, based on the amount you set per pack.

* Various bug fixes

If I send my P3 in is this a NO CHARGE upgrade, as my local dealer (1.5 hrs away) does not yet have a programmer?

Thx

VAPEMAIL DELIVERED, WOOHOO!!!!!

Kayfil, Ni200 Subtank coils (going to try w/ Vapor Flask).

I did, BTW, have my very first (MAJOR) leak from the Subtank Mini. Lost pretty much an entire tank of juice... :( I was in the process of collecting everything Subtank to throw out when I realized I forgot to put the top back on the RBA head when I replaced it. My bad... :-x

Given I've been proven wrong more than one time when I uttered never, I won't on DIY, but I'll be happy for many years with just having to buy juice I like, batteries, cotton and Kanthal. If we have a Nuclear Apocalypse, we have way more to worry about than our next vape, that's for sure.

We'd have more to worry about = ninety-nine problems but a vape ain't one

I'd rather not worry about my vape if TSHTF. I won't have to since I DIY & vape a Pro****ingVari :)
