My local shop got two units in, and when I visited there again recently and asked If I could check out the Beta unit again, they were like, yeah..., those were ordered for the owner and another guy...they weren't even interested in taking my name down for a sign up/ pre-order whatever. Just didn't seem to care. I doubt that they will even bring them in to stock by the response I got...I will wait, like so many others, for the Provape site to have them available for sale...

Hello,

Please keep in mind that it took about 2 weeks just for the beta units to all arrive to their destination. That includes the shipping process, transit times, customs etc. Then time for those testing the beta units to try and provide feedback.

There is also the following to consider on the timeline:

Anytime we make software changes it can add 1-2 months to the development cycle; to make code changes, design changes and further testing to make sure those changes did not interfere with other features.

while it feels like a long time, it's really not been that long considering everything we have had to do along the way. It just feels longer when you are waiting. :)

It's like watching grass grow , but we are putting fertilizer on the turf.

regarding the TI, they are going quick, and almost half of the units are already gone.

**Vape360 question for you....
Is there a firmware update coming out for the Provari P3 Beta? I love my P3 Beta, it works great and have had no issues regarding unit operation. I obviously have a 3.1 version Provari P3 Beta. I saw one for sale on ebay that had been updated to version 3.4 and the seller also stated that a 3.5 firmware was going to be coming out along with updated spring and end cap. Is any of this true? Or when will I be able to send my beta in for software update? Thanks for response?

Start a sign-up sheet. That'll change their minds.

I'm surrounded by > 10 decent vape shops (meaning carrying mechs, rbas, know what they are doing) in a town of 50k and only one carries Provari. They treat it like an after thought. Really? C'mon guys. If I have 15 minutes to spare during the week, guess what I don't want to do ... mess with my mod or coils or anything else that feels like "work". I'm a bit peeved at all this fiddly stuff because it's crowding out the good stuff for the rest of us and I'm quite proud of NOT being a hobbyist vaper.

Anyway, I suspect Provape is out to change some minds about that. Keep asking and bugging them. Drive 'em nuts.

If all else fails, show off the one you bought somewhere else.

Hey aikanae - I'm 100% with you. I consider anything more than unpacking something more than I want to do. BUILD something? Heck - I paid money for the dayum thing. I want it BUILT when it arrives!!! ;-)

I too am not a 'hobbyist' vaper. I 'vape', rather than 'smoke'. And the closer to being as easy to do as smoking *was* the better in my book. Yes, it's important to have the variety available to those that like different stuff, but not when it starts to exclude those of us that just want it to work, work well, and work every time.

An aside: On another thread talking about a very cheap do everything APV, people are whining because every once in awhile it doesn't fire when you press the fire button. Gee, ever hear/read - you get what you pay for? My proVari doesn't have this issue...

I'm a plug and play guy as well. Until I discovered Provari, I was just getting frustrated. I don't want to need an electrical engineering degree to be able to have a satisfying vape. I don't want to build anything. I don't even want to know how it really works. I just want to fill up with juice, push a button and have great vapor. Provari and BVC coils do just that for me!

Think about how much better you'll have it, with a P3...

I sold everything I had except my 2.5 in anticipation of getting the P3. The money is sitting in an envelope growing old waiting. Poor money. All dressed up and nowhere to go...........:)

I too am ready to send my $$ directly to ProVape, if only they would take it from me~! Many of us are more than willing to pre-pay for our P3, regardless of the release date. I just want to get in line. I do wish they would offer a pre-order option as soon as they decide on the price (with or without knowing the color choices) - just leave the shipping date wide open, we'll still fill the blanks ASAP and give you our $$$
