Thought so... I just want you to know you are making it VERY difficult to not be an early adopter. I was sure that polished would come later.

Question for those that have a polished ProVari: how well does it hold up with day to day use? And if you dropped it, did it ding easily? Finger prints? Will I be needing to wipe it down all the time? It is so pretty though.... Might be worth it?
I can only tell you about finger prints with my 45 minute ownership of a polished 2.5. I bought the polished 2.5 at my vape shop. I had it for 45 minutes and returned it for Satin Silver. I didn't drop it, but it's polished so gosh darn incredibly perfect that for this total ....-retentive, it showed finger prints like crazy. Maybe that isn't an issue for some, but for me it was. I simply love the Satin Silver finish. It's never gotten a scratch and it just doesn't show finger prints.

I have two satin silver standard ProVari. I do like them and will probably go with the satin. But DAMN I love the look of the polished. Unfortunately, I would be like you. Forever wiping it and making it shiny all the time. I also have a black ProVari and it is showing signs of wear. It's not bad, its just you can see where the black is starting to wear off a bit.
After about 2-3((i don't remember exactly when I got it) years my Chrome Provari(remember when they were actually chromed?) had only light surface scratches, despite multiple drops. Idk if the polished would be significantly different or not.
EDIT: Just checked provape website, and it only goes back to 2012, so I'm thinking I got my Chrome in October of 2011.

You're welcome. If finger prints would have you wiping after every vape, you like me should avoid polished.

Oh, I've been curious... How well do those skins work, considering that the tube isn't perfectly flat all the way around?

Actually Oct 5th was my two year, I'm just using all three to justify the purchase.
