Just like devices, all B&M's are not the same. I think we have a tendency on line to hear the horror stories, so perception could be blown out of proportion.... or not.

I also know a vaper that doesn't have a clue about what resistance is or even know what their son/friend/store built for them, and doesn't care to learn.
Hmm -- one very good reason ProVari should be sold more places and more often!
I've met long time vapers that have a store that currently caters to the newer vaper, because that's the market for their geographical area and it's their desire to get people to switch to vaping. They have a nice small collection and range of devices and are authorized ProVari dealers....and also have full time additional jobs. If they were doing well enough to also service on-line sales, I'm sure they would. It's not their current business plan.
I've also purchased on line from places that also have a storefront, some of which have done so for many years, when B&M was almost unheard of.
Most of my local shops are trendy and each is developing their own niche in the market -- they are far from identical. I've only heard of one store of the hundreds in LA basin that has closed, and they just switched to manufacturing. That is almost unbelievable for any business specialty, so the stores in this area are doing some things successfully.
There are also stores that have items on line that they don't sell in the store as well as the reverse. Some of these in store items are rather exclusive, too.
The B&M market for E-cigs is certainly evolving and growing just about everywhere. I'm sure the owners will learn a bit about business along the way (as many on-line distributors have) and make
their marketing and sales decisions.
Though inconvenient for many, ProVape releasing through the B&M's first was
their marketing decision. I can see many pro's as they can focus on getting the product in bulk out in many areas quickly and get more P3's to their public faster than by individual sales. ProVape has been a wholesaler for quite some time, building up this network of ProVari distributors while continuing to sell retail directly via on-line sales. ProVape has certainly said that this will continue with the P3----shortly.
