Speaking of updates:

Vape360, I remember you saying dealers would have the ability to perform firmware upgrades. So when I last visited my dealer, I asked them if they can perform the upgrade and I was met with a blank stare. But being the super swell dealer they are, they called you and inquired and they were told you haven't rolled this out yet. They did let you know they want to be able to do them.

SO..........when will dealers have the ability to perform firmware updates? Huh? When??

I understand that, but the resistance of my coil is remaining the same. Only the voltage is changing, which is why it's weird to me.

This is normal. Resistance can change with heat during use but rest resistance may not change right away. The p3 monitors resistance while firing too and adjusts accordingly

I'm not so patiently waiting for any problems and issue ironed out till I get my Provari 3. Probably until beginning of January we will see.

As I recall, there may be a 10% off sale on NYD.

As far as I'm concerned, there aren't any problems or issues with the ProVari 3.

But then I don't use No-Lax or anything else on my threads and end cap.

They get wiped with 190 proof Everclear and are screwed firmly. That's it.

I agree with you 94.63%. There are absolutely no issues with the P3. But, you do need No-Ox, says the King of No-Ox on these here parts! Yes you do!!

I hear ya on that. But the funds are low having 4 kiddies and 2 grandkids and being on SSI DIABILITY (it's a Cancer thing) I'll have to wait unless someone gets me a Christmas present [emoji320]

A good reason to have a spare P3 to 510 adapter in the Vapeaggedon supplies.

Sure wish they offered replacement extension rings. I have no doubt I'm going to misplace them (or the kittens will do it for me) when my P3 is in 18350 mode.

Better to have an extra beauty ring in hand...

The 2 of them can be used as jam nuts to remove a stuck 510 adapter from topper.

Just my thoughts, Jim

That's a great idea, Jim. Will throw one in the order!

Edit: Am I the only one who'd like to see a beauty ring without the Made in USA and ProVape engraved in the side? I think it takes away from the clean look with some toppers.

Just got my P3 in the mail, nice looking device! I screwed on my atty (KFL) to see if it fits flush on the P3; it doesn't on my 2.5. I snugged it up, not too tight, and the gap is smaller but still not flush. But that's not the issue...

I unscrewed it and found small shavings and dust from the P3's center pin inside the connection. Cleaned them out, screwed the atty on and off; there were more shavings and dust. And again after a third try.

I'll try smoothing out the pin on the KFL but I don't have this issue on my 2.5. Maybe the P3's pin is softer?

Anyone else have this happen? At this rate, I worry the P3's center pin is going to wear out and need replacing.

I AM THE ALL POWERFUL KEEPER OF THE IQ. WHO SO FORSOETH MUSTETH ASKETH...
Ok I can't keep that up! Hahaha!

Um...all I can say is it's your battery?
And if the battery is new, on top of all those previously recommend procedures you followed...then yes, I'd open a ticket with the folks in the Emerald Tower. (That's Provape...sorry I was still partially stuck in medieval mode!)

Brand new AW IMR 18650 2200MAH.
All I did was show it my post and it went up to 77.
Then I unscrewed the cap and extension tubes and screwed them back together and got 91.
If I did everything in my post, it would be 150!
It's Voodoo Nonsense.
