Well you have me 15 minutes into this video and I'll continue to watch more later, but if taste is the objective we all know it's personal. Thanks for the link...

Even with time elapse its a snoozer....I'll spare you the boredom. Japanese cotton performs best for absorption rate and clean burning....Phil was a Walgreen ball man until he took the time to test.

Pulling the trigger on a P3 and can't decide what finish. I already have a 2.5 gunmetal gray, so I was thinking satin silver for the P3 maybe? HELP ME CHOOSE!

I love satin silver. It's their mainstay/original/traditional/standard finish but I think it is awesome. Doesn't show fingerprints and never wears off. But that's just what I like. Others like the alternatives.

Not only is SS the best finish for me, it's the best priced option. Double Bonus! Like Bronze said, it doesn't show fingerprints and the finish doesn't seem to ever scratch either. For someone who is beyond OCD like me that's a major plus. Yes it is!

OK I bought the satin silver. DONE. Now, should I grab a couple extra 18650's from provape, or is there a better battery out there? I know the VTC5's are hard to find I think, but what about the Efest 2500mah? I'm looking to get something with as much capacity as possible and highest quality since i'll be vaping at more power now.

I'm still finding authentic VTC5's on ebay, but that's at your own risk. The fakes aren't hard to spot and I've subohmed the batteries I've bought there, total of 4. Gone as low as .32 with no trouble. Even the fakes are fine batteries, just have like a 20 amp limit. The IMR batteries are great batteries, but I can get 2+ days of use off a single VTC5 at 12.6 watts and I vape alot. That'll probably be different now that I got the GTII because I'm running that at 18+ watts.

For me its AW IMR, VTC5 or nothing. Least of all Efest

I wonder how these would do.

If not, I could just grab some IMR's off the provape site.

You can't make a mistake with AW Batteries. For a better price, I buy mine from RTD Vapor. They do have excellent prices on authentic AW Batteries.

Congrats on ordering a SS P3. You're going to be a really happy happy guy!!

I considered recommending he buy them from RTD, but I just checked and ProVape actually has the new AW IMR 18650's for pretty much the exact same price as RTD ($12.95 at PV vs $12.89 at RTD).

Thanks and good to know. When I purchased my AW 18490 1200 MAH, Provape didn't have them yet and they had the absolute best price I found anywhere.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they didn't get the new ones until yesterday, at least that's when I saw them for the first time. Which is why I also got my 1200mAh 18490's from RTD, during the Black Friday sale (I also picked up one of the 800mAh 18350's to try out) :)

I've never used 18350's. One 18490 lasts me from the time I'm up at 7:00 AM until I go to bed around 11:30 PM with lot's of vaping inbetween. :vapor:

We vape in a very similar way. In 4 years I've only used AW IMR 18490's. Well, except for a very brief stint of making homemade stealth mods with AW IMR 14500's... And yea... 7am to 11pm on a single battery.

I've never used them either, the only other device I've owned that could take multiple battery sizes was the SVD, and I always used it in 18490 mode. However I kept seeing pictures of the P3 in 18350 mode, and I loved how compact it looked, so when I was placing my order at RTD I decided to throw one in. I doubt I will be using it very often, probably only when I go to the movies or somewhere else I want a smaller set-up :)

I often wonder how people seem to run out of battery in a few hours? I vape pretty much all day long and one 18490 has plenty of power. I'm at 9.8 watts on a 1.8 Ohm Coil.

I wonder the same thing. I don't chain vape, but I vape pretty steadily throughout the day on a 1.4 ohm coil at 12.5 watts. I've just assumed up to this point that people getting 3-4 hour run time are either hardcore chain vaping, or running high wattage multi coil setups, or both.
