ETA: Well, that was interesting. I went to my recall/presets/whatever and selected 3, which I haven't used. I have the display off, so all I see is what I call the simple screen - you know what I mean. Anyway, I selected 3 and when I pressed the button to see what the setting was the full menu turned on with one push (not the 4 I was expecting) and the settings started changing immediately. However, it did start at the low end.

I just recalled position 4 which I know is not saved and with one push of the button it just shows the volts at 3.4 and the ohm reading. No main menu with only one button push.

I checked all 5 recalls (I haven't set any myself) and they were all about a volt lower than what I saw.

Rather disappointed. At least I still have my trusty dna 40

It sounds like the entire system rebooted itself.

Edit: Have you tried going back to your usual settings and then saving them?

Yes, I just saved them on the first recall. Nevertheless, now I'm going to feel the need to check the display every time I fire it to see if it's changed again.

I've seen plenty of problems with the DNA40 rollout too.

Put in a ticket with Provape. You know they will make good on it.

Now to totally confuse you. If you change the juice you are vaping then you may have to change the wattage to suit your taste buds.9 watts with a 1.8 ohm coil vaping burger king ejuice may taste great, but when you use McDonald's ejuice with a 1.8 ohm coil at 9 watts in might not taste so great. You might have to go higher or lower with your watts. Did I totally screw you up?

How dare you mess me up like this!!!! Just when I thought I was getting this into my Stone Age Sized Brain, you have to go and introduce yet something else to add to the billions of other bits of knowledge in my head. I mean, wow......the nerve!! LOL

I guess it's mighty lucky that I'm not a juice-changer kind of guy. Like when I lit the stinkies, I used the same brand for years, so too do I stick with a flavor I find comforting and enjoyable to vape with.

And there it is. Now you all know I'm not that imaginative when it comes to juice. Oh, the shame. Yes, the utter shame!

Well for Christmas I am going to order the infamous NO-OX. I guess I will need a pill box and zip lock bag as well. What I can't fine is 99% isopropyl alcohol. CVS and Walgreens only sells 91%. Where can I find it locally?

I got mine from CVS. True, they don't stock it, but they can order it for you. Took a day to get enough to last 5 years and then some. Just ask the pharmacist to order some. Easy-Peazy! Yes it is!

I just have the chain pharmacies in my area. I'll try Amazon. I large of a bottle do I need? Here we go again but do you get your No Ox from Amazon as well or from Provape?

All this talk about taking great care of the threads. I have a Rayovac flashlight which has to be 10 years old and all I do is change the batteries on it. It works and it sits in a cold garage in the winter and a hot garage in the summer. No (No_ox) on the threads.

Imagine how bright it would be with clean threads & No-Ox!

My cheap flashlight seems to have a high IQ as it keeps on working without No-Ox. Reminds me of a Timex watch which keeps on ticking.

I thought he was wondering where to get 99% Isopropy? Most pharmacies don't stock it, but my CVS was more than happy to get some for me and it only took a day to get.

I'm not sure why I'd want to purchase 2 oz's of Sir Rod, Master of Lube's beloved No-Ox. That's enough for just about every Provari owner in the world and then some. I imagine the little tube I bought from Provape will last me a looooooooooooooooooooong time. Yes it will.

You vape by taste, not by numbers. People who say 10 watts is what they like and that's what they vape everything at, must have a very narrow range of taste. Juices don't all vaporize the same: coffee may be great at 15 watts, but cantaloupe might taste burnt; pg/vg ratios are different; what you are concurrently drinking or eating can change the flavor of your vape. He's talking about adjusting the power (volts or watts, it doesn't matter) up or down to where it tastes good to you.

Would you set the cruise control at 40 and just stay there, no matter what?

My husband has suggested as much . I DO get that Micky D's and Morton's have slightly different flavor profiles. Really, I do. But I don't get why Morton's at 4.2 volts in P3 with Nautilus tastes different than Morton's at 4.2 volts in Billet BoX. Really, I don't! Maybe someday ... Probably about the same time that those 40 pigs sprout wings

What you are describing is true, which makes me quite happy. I only really like one juice, so I have it in several different devices. I don't know why, but they don't all taste the same and I like them at different temperatures. I vape at about 10-11 watts with my RTA, but I like it really hot in the bottom feeders, so I switch out the batteries as soon as the voltage goes down even a little. In my case, there is enough difference for variety, almost like I have more than one juice.

As far as why it happens - tank shapes can make a big difference.

I'm willing to bet, given Provape's incredible quest for accuracy, 4.2 volts on a P3 is truly 4.2 volts, whereas on other devices, they may not equal the same.
