I am quite familiar with Baditude and his posts. I am in search of more current info specifically regarding the latest round of chargers, which I haven't seen any action on in the other threads. Before I went pulling him out of semi-retirement, I figured I'd ask here first.

My XTARs just keep cranking along. They're great, but there might be much better by now. Maybe something with GPS, even?

When these things decided to die I might know more.

I thought we were through this once before with this vendor and came to the conclusion they were not authentic. Lemme check again.

This vendor is not on svoemesto's list of authorized dealers. This is a clone. We've visited this vendor before and came to the same conclusion. I even emailed them asking if they were genuine Kayfuns and they never wrote back. If you want a genuine Kayfun online go to inTaste, Cloud 9, or Vape Rev.

I remember the discussion, I just don't remember who the vendor was. If it's the same, I think the consensus was it's not authentic. And I think someone (maybe you?) wrote them and never got a response, which would be a good sign it's not.

Ooops, I see you posted above and basically settled this. I certainly won't be ordering one from them. But I do eventually plan to add an authentic Kayfun to my P3.

You can go to Svoemesto's website and look up authorized dealers. I don't see VapinArt (just put the name in the search engine...don't have location).

Ping, I cannot disagree with you. While the line is blurry between the appropriateness of clones versus authentics, passing off a clone as an authentic is not. It is just plain wrong!

Yes, that's what I was thinking ... It's about 900 mls. With the weight of the bottles, it would probably be 8-9 bottles of 60 mls each


ETA: Re: KFL+ -- what about VapinArt? I thought they only carried authentics. Their KFL+'s and K4's are the same prices as VapeRevs - which leads me to believe they are the real deal. (Wondering because I bought my Ruzgars from them, and found them to be very easy to deal with ...)

Xtar VP1 or Xtar VP2.

The VP2 will handle 26650 and has more voltage options, but if all you use is 18000 series batteries, the VP1 is a little more foolproof and charges just as well.

It's funny. When bands in the 80's did this kind of thing in the "new age" scene and some of the punk rock scene, it was frowned upon by a lot of people. Now that it's a Japanese thing some of those same people think it's cute.

I've known Larry at Vapinart for a while now. Absolutely top-notch guy with (to the best of my knowledge) ONLY authentic items. He's good people in my book.

The one thing Vaping Art says in it's Kayfun lite description is.

It should say:
"1 Extension Ring included supporting 18350 & 18490/18500 battery sizes (2nd extension ring optional)"

RB I just spoke with UltraMist about the $60.00 Kayfun lite and he says it's real and is going to send me pictures of the box and the bottom where the date is shown. So we shall see.

Although, not my $10, so not my decision...
But with Bronze having prior knowledge on this vendor, and everyone having everyone's best interests in mind, I feel it's not worth the risk.

That's because you're a moral, and ethical person!
Creating/advertising a clone as authentic, crosses the line into being counterfeit. Same goes for replicating manufacturer's logos and markings.
I want to assume positive intent here, but my gut tells me this guy won't be sending you pictures of what he's actually selling. You will more than likely get a picture of the authentic he owns, and he'll just say it's one of his stock off the shelf.
Oh well...like I said, it's not my money, therefore it's not my decision. I'm just being a bit too over-protective of you guys/gals...aka my Vape Family!

The Classic is an outstanding "entry point" for newbs. Great work. Obviously, this broadens your demo and 15 watts should be plenty for the new kids on the block. Question: is the spring in the end cap "beefier" than my antiquated 2.5's ???
