So I finally received those Parish cases the other day and wanted to post up some pics. I do like the one pictured. I would have taken pics of the other one, but this is the better one to get anyway and I'm at work and actually motivated to get pics up at the moment and only have this one! I'll post both links below.

As an FYI - as you can tell from the juice dripping from the drip tip, it might be best to get a darker color so that the juice dripping isn't so obvious. All in all I like this one.

I have a theory about my P3 and I am going to test it today.

With the extensions in place, my batteries are reading fair to not good. I am going through brand new AW IMR 18650 2200mAh, that I bought right from ProVape, in WAYYYY Faster time than you all are going through the smaller ones.

I have taken all the extensions away and am using the P3 in mini mode with batteries that I bought when I bought the P3 right from ProVape.

First off, the battery is reading IQ Great. That rarely, if ever, happened in max extended mode. I will keep track of how long the battery is lasting. I have a feeling that extended mode is not giving a very good connection for whatever reason.

I have been watching this thread and the thing I am hearing the most is that a lot of you are using it in mini mode and having none of the problems I am having. The P3 has been sitting in my drawer as a paperweight for the last few months. I am one of those that has been sorely disappointed in the way the device has been working.

Before anyone starts giving me any 'tips', please know that even if I have not said anything, I have read all the threads, tried ALL of the tips that have been dispensed as of this date. I have even read of the 'lubricant' debates and did purchase the now recommended stuff. I have tried with the lube and without.

If this experiment doesn't work, I will be opening a ticket with ProVape. I would absolutely love to Love my P3. I thank god that I have three P2's for backup :D They have never failed me, except when I fail them

Definitely open a ticket with ProVape. You know they will resolve your issues Robin. They always have. You're not enjoying the advancements that the P3 provides letting it sit in your bone box.

I haven't even tried my P3s in any mode other than Mini.

Or my other Ti ProVaris for that matter.

Kinda defeats the purpose which is to be as small and light as possible.

Haven't had any problems to date.

Sorry to be hearing, yet again, of this.

Sorry to bring it up again. I just noticed that most are using it, like yourself, in mini mode. The blame is all on me ;) I probably should have opened a ticket right away when I first got the thing. My fault entirely

I understand it is kind of a PITA to go through the process of resolving your P3 issues. We pay good money for them in part because we want them to work correctly from Day One. So I understand why you have procrastinated and that's why I wont lecture you. But I know you're confident ProVape will get to the bottom of it. Your problem sounds most unusual.

In the 18650 mode the IQ on my both my P3's reads 80 at best. If I go to the 18490 mode which I have been using for several months now the IQ when I do check it which is not often is in the mid 80's. I have new 18350's in my mailbox which I will charge tonight and check. By all means open a ticket at Provape as you just may have a issue. As far as how long my batteries last I can say the 18650's went at least 2 full days. I get an entire day or more out of my 18490's, but I'm using two P3's during the day. Right now my P3 has a 18490 in it installed yesterday and it reads 4% battery left and the IQ is reading 75.

Provape will take good care of you Robin. Hang in there.

My Ti P3 is here! Back from the dark side, the Vamo can go away (got it after I killed my ProVari 2 by cross threading in like a donkey, and couldn't wait for service.) just never got around to rejoining ProVape.

Couple observations...

The threads are squeaky (can I use the thread lube I bought from Provape with my P2 on the Ti model?)

Love the size with the P3 threads. Even in 18650 mode it dwarfs my stupid Vamo (with its crappy disappearing finish and buttons that too easily would accidentally change the wattage. When you vape at 3.0 and bump backwards to 15.0 the nasty dry hit isn't fun)

Can't believe how much I missed ProVapes quality, fit and finish. This thing is gorgeous!

On the Aspire Naulitus, a couple questions. I'm running the 1.8 BVCs. On my Vamo with iClear, I was running 1.8ohm at 3.5-4.0 watts (emperor penguin 3mg), and while it was a bit warm temp vape I got decent vapor.

With the aspire, I'm now up to 7 watts and temp is warm, but I'm not getting as much vapor. Does it need to break in? (Yeah I know I don't use a ton of power, but I hate burnt taste and the iClear at 5 watts would burn my juice and the atomizer)

Lastly how full can I fill it without it leaking? All the way to the edge of the post when inverted?

Thanks! I'm loving this machine! (Gotta get a new drip tip though I think) and I'm super stoked on the service I got from Provape to get my order all together and snagging me a Ti when they arrived plus the tank which seemed to be out of stock on the website.

Just tested my p3 with a fresh Samsung 18650-25R - the IQ read 95 Great. With a fresh Sony VTC4 18650 - IQ 97 Great.
Both after a few puffs..

R

Edit: I must say, the innter resistance of those is one of the smallest, which is a good thing, and the P3 takes that into account too somehow. Now with a fresh Efest 18350 700mAh the IQ was 86..

Congrats on the new gear, God of Beer!
If the BVC coil in your Nautilus is primed, it doesn't need much breaking in. I used the BVCs with power up to 14W, but It likes thinner juices more, so I wouldn't go over 70VG.
Yes, you can fill all the way to the edge.

I have the TI and I did use No-Ox on the threads the first day as they did squeak, however Provape says you can do without using lube on the threads, just keep them clean. Once you unscrew them a few times that sound will disappear. Congrats on your new P3 TI.

Somehow I feel the IQ is higher in Latvia.

Maybe it's because my P3 has never seen No-Ox. I just clean the threads with some ethyl alcohol or vodka once in a month or so..

It most certainly is not your fault.

There seems to be something going on with the way the new chip is interpreting whatever input it is receiving.

Maybe the software is a bit too ambitious.

Hope MiniMode works for you.

I hate to say it but all these iq issues led me back to the fault being the aw batts. In all modes my aw batts read 5-10 iq points lower than my vtc4 , he2s and orbtronics. It has to be the fact that it is a button top as the other button top batt I have does the same thing. I think the button top adds a slight bit more internal resistance than flat tops.

And I always said ProVape would regret that IQ feature. :)

Hi Robin, it's nice to see you and I'm sorry you've had issues with your P3. It's too great a device to sit in a drawer, so you should definitely open a ticket with Provape. I've never used mine in 18650 mode, but I only use mine in 18490 mode with AW batteries. I found IQ a bit frustrating myself, but then I ordered some new springs from Provape and made sure the new sprint was completely centered, and made a completely contact with the back of the battery and low and behold, my IQ stays in the 93 range throughout the day. Much as I'd like to say that lube makes much difference and as Sir Rod, Master of Lube, I do routinely clean my threads and re-lube, I have to say that never really made much difference. But the spring did make a world of difference.

It came in today! My Kayfun V4 was sitting in the mailbox this morning, and I was so happy! Built my first coil and this thing is awesome!

Congrats, I hope it brings your much vaping satisfaction!

Ps: I did look at those names for the Premium Juices. Funny, but honestly, kind of in poor taste.
