Why should they :) It's a nice monitoring feature. The P3 vapes regardless.

Yes it is. Honestly the aw batts last plenty long but I notice when vaping pretty hard they get a bit warmer than my other batts and read empty faster but recover some after cooling. Up to 30% at times.

I think most of us just vape the p3 differently and don't realize it.

Hahaha I don't quite get the "you is you" comment

I just meant that you are your own individual person...and prone to your own OCDs and habits, same as everyone else is their own person...
"You is you."

Hey now...that doesn't take away my sub-textually implied hint to stop storing your tanks upside down! Hahahaha!!! I'm kidding! But I'm not! But I am!
I'm a mess. My OCD hopes you'll do a 180, both literally and figuratively...but again "you is you" and "me is me"...what I really hope is that you just stay off analogs!

Hey folks. I love my P3, but the battery issues are really starting to wear on me. I just took out a battery it said was empty and it reads 4V on the charger. Contacts have been recently swabbed with iso, but it didn't completely solve the issue. The batteries I'm using are Sony VTC4/5's, and I can run them in an SX Mini all day at 16W. They're not fresh out of the package, but they work fine in other mods. Is there a good reference for debugging these issues, or is this just part and parcel to the P3 experience?

Scratch, when that happens what's the iq? My vtc's run fine but I did find if the pos cap on the batt is indented it can lead to poor contact in the p3 and a lower iq rating. Iq for a vtc in my p3 is 95 most of the time. Also don't forget the end cap spring. Clean it and stretch it a bit and check if it's the updated spring

Haha - well thing is that I'm not spending much time on my feet anyway. So really when I say it's upside down, it's really just a walk from the parking lot and then any water breaks/walks to lunch/etc at work I'm referring to here. If my device stays in my pocket it's basically lying on its side most of the time sitting at my chair anyway. And upside down ensures that it can't flood anyway. Only issue would be any residual juice in the chimney coming out really.

Can I recommend that you'll do a 180 and start storing your mod upside down? Hahaha

But like you said "you is you" and "me is me" - haha.

But ultimately I like vaping so much more than smoking! If I had to step back outside like an animal to have a cig, or wait until our destination or a rest stop to have a smoke again, my head would explode. Lol. Not to mention the game of it all and everything. Definitely a big fan of vaping! It's just too bad a really good experience takes trial and error. Like I couldn't just hand my devices to my dad and say "have at it - quit smoking". Wish I could, but it's like newbies have to go through trial and error and learning.

One day we'll get to it being automated somehow. Imagine wick juice sensing technology (not sure how) maybe by how much current runs through (even if that current is small) or something that can tell how dense the juice is in the wick, then an automatic electric "squanking" when needed. And of course temp sensing coils will continue their trend forward.

In any case the future of vaping will get brighter and brighter. ***I just hope the government doesn't intervene too much and inadvertently halt innovation in the industry.....

This is what I would do:

1. Read the manual that came with it
2. Clean it by flowing this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/647777-p3-cleaning-guide.html
3..Also clean the battery ends
4. Stretch the spring a little
5. Make Shure all sections are tight.
6. Try it and see if this solved your problem. If not step 7.
7. Start a ticket with Pro Vape Here:https://provape.zendesk.com/anonymous_requests/new
Hope you get the issue solved.

And I always said ProVape would regret that IQ feature. :)

Because some of us, uh, er, um, me......are OCD and check IQ too often, feeling less confident when our IQ drops, regardless of the vape quality. We lived without IQ before and to be honest, I for one, could live without it again.

I like it. But I think some people put too much emphasis on it. Most of us did initially until we realized what it was, how it worked, and what to concern ourselves with.

Oh trust me my Latvian Friend! I'm thankful for all the wonderful things my P3 does every single time I push the button. And I don't check IQ nearly as often, but I still check it when I put in a fresh battery. For an OCD, that's pretty good progress. Yes it is!!:vapor:

Just a few posts I picked out and no wonder we had pages and pages of posts about the P3 IQ system. If you are OCD you are compelled to buy a Provari because it works. If you are OCD the IQ is driving you crazy. For those with OCD the P3 is a gift and a curse. Yes it is.

so I just ordered the P3, I'm a bit apprehensive as the response I get from people on facebook groups and forums are very diverse when you mention it lol.

However I picked it for £140, €190 give a few €'s or £'s and that's delivered. which is the best price I came across in Europe. Pm me if anyone wants to know where from.

Now the waiting begins! [emoji14]
