OK, I'm not a betting man, but let's start a P3 Thread Bet on just when Ping will open his wallet again for something new, not juice, coil, cotton, battery related.

Don't bet on me buying anything new. I have 3 Provari's and now 3 Kayfuns. All top notch and as we know, well made and very dependable. I'll bet on myself. Yes I will...

But you know as well as I do that something better, more desirable is just around the corner. The entire vaping industry is built around planned obsolescence. Yes it is!!

I remember when I only had 3 Provaris with 3 Kayfuns ... starting ordering in pairs shortly after that.

Willy you need help... You can't help yourself from hitting the buy button. Have you tried Vapers Anonymous?

There's not such thing as VA ... those are for vices like gambling and alcohol.

Therefore, I must obtain all the Provaris.

Look what showed up today! Ordered on Thursday, shipped on Friday and cross country from WA to MI and delivered today. That's amazing!

There unfortunately are a couple problems though, the plexiglass / acrylic OLED cover isn't flush mounted to the tube on my P3 Ti, it's close to flush on the bottom but pretty sharp on the top and when trying to put the battery cap on with a 18350 battery the threads bound up towards the end and I didn't think I was going to be able to tighten it all the way down. However, that last part could possibly be due to the new spring so I'll let it wear in for a couple days and make a decision.

Either way, I'm stoked! I can't believe how light the P3 Ti is compared to my Classic 2015, it makes the classic feel ultra premium with its heft!

It does take some effort when using the 18350 mode. Once you know the thread is not crossed threaded then put pressure on the cap and screw it on. It will become easier, but the first few times the last two turns gives you a feeling that you cross threaded it.

I might think of putting in a support ticket with Provape. Both my P3's have smooth OLED covers on them.

I too would open a support ticket with Provape. The Oled screen should be smooth and flush all the way around.

NoOxed the threads on my my new TiP3 and slipped in a big ol' 18650.
It's lighter in 18650 mode than my black P3 in medium mode.

Ti/STM in 18650 with Tatroe wide base - 242.5 grams
SS/STM in 18350 with Tatroe wide base - 238.1 grams
SS/STM in 18490 with Tatroe wide base - 264.2 grams

Here's a picture compared to my Classic 2015, not sure if you can see the difference clearly or not?

It's definitely not flush, so yes, I would open a ticket with Provape, if for nothing more than peace of mind.

I already had a ticket open with Krys for a question about the Kayfun v4 springs they have (new gold or old silver) so I sent the picture and an email to him. I've never had a problem with Provape CS so I'm sure I'll be hearing back from them within an hour or two.

You had to post that, didn't you. Just couldn't help yourself. Aargh! Do you suppose ProVape will have a Mothers' Day sale? (Unlike Ping, I have no illusions about shutting off the spigot. :))
