Thank you OC! If it weren't for ECF, You Guys and Provape, I'd have likely fallen off the wagon like I did so so so many times in the past. I have absolutely NO DESIRE to smoke (though I must admit that when I see someone light one up and take that first drag and look relieved, I sometimes envy them - but NOT enough to ever light one for myself - NO NO NO I Don't!).
OK, I haven't been warned about an infraction (yet), but given what OC posted, I prolly should have gotten one this weekend when Peter offered to send me his Authentic Russian 91% and I asked "how much" he wanted for it. Ooooops. We did take the discussion offline and into PM, but that is evidently a no no.......Still, Peter offered to just give it to me. I was the one who said I should pay something. So he's the good one. Me? I guess not so good.
The update for me was around the equivalent of 20 dollars and a small torch (for oxidizing mesh for genny's) that was a similar price, so it was not that bad.
But now that I've played with it for a couple minutes, I do see some flickering or scan lines in the menu sometimes that I wasn't seeing before. It's not that bad, and not every time or everywhere, but I did notice it.

Um, yes. Several of us. My free update cost me a bit over $100. Given so many of us didn't just walk out of a vape shop with just a free upgrade, for the cost of the programmer, any dealer who doesn't make that small investment is just plain dumb. Dumb I'm telling you!

So, ProVape, it does seem to affect those who updated to v38. Should we open a ticket, or is a forum bug report good enough? This is on par with the previous bug that affected brightness in memory settings (ie, not that bad, but there).
^^^ I'll be able to chime in at the weekend when my buddy gets here with my upgraded P3's...FWIW, I don't see any flickering in the display of my ver. 36 P3 Ti.

Probably due to a smaller space being available for our avatars...a quick re-upload of the pic will probably fix it. FWIW, we went through the same forum software conversion process on Thailandvapers.com last year...once you get used to it, this software is much faster, cleaner and easier to use than the old one...really! My love affair with Provari was renewed. I bought a P3 Beta from the classifieds and had the software updated to V38 by a local shop and bought a Aspire Nautilius with the P3 connection and I'm in heaven! I had held off buying mainly due to battery life and V38 really helps that.
I was up till 2:15AM watching my Blackhawks finally win in triple overtime.
