Okay, maybe it's the lack of watching TV for so long, but when I watch something like that I get kind of confused. I mostly watch documentaries, although I really like House of Cards. As far as animation, I like Bugs Bunny, Ren & Stimpy and Making Fiends (my fav!).

ETA: Oops! I forgot Charlie the Unicorn. I love him.

Something I always tell my employees - don't come to me with a complaint unless you have a solution to suggest along with it. So, how would you propose a single-button menu system to work?

First of all I don't have to come with a solution. I'm a customer, not a employee.
And second, the solution is there for years, since the Provari v1 was released.
Provape managed a long time ago to develop a menu control system with a single button and without the help of a self scrolling menu, and it was quite successful.
I'm not saying they should remove the scrolling option, some may like it. All I ask is to add some option to stop it (like speed 0).

User error. Smart user learns to not check his watch while in the menu. Problem solved.

Ok, so the phone was ringing and I looked at it for a second. Does it sound better ?
I really don't think someone should maintain all of his concentration for a mod menu.
But this was just an example, if you read my other posts you could see that I'm not after a mod that allows me to do more things at once.

True, ProVape makes very high quality mods - arguably the best. But, why are you ruling out a 200W mod? You don't have to use 200W just because it's there, just like you don't have to drive at 100MPH just because your speedometer shows numbers that high. There are many small, single-battery mods using the DNA200 board, but are limited to 75W (I believe) due to a single battery. There's a new VF model that uses a single 26650 that's quite comfortable to hold as well. Point being, there are a lot of options, and until you design and manufacture your own mod, none will be perfect for you.

I really don't care if a mod can handle 50 watts or 500 watts. The problem is elsewhere. I still didn't find one who delivers quality, reliability, is compact and built to last. And I owned more than a few..

Two problems with your idea. First, ProVape would never expose the electronics. Second, allowing tubes to be screwed onto the Procyon would potentially allow people to use P3 tubes and make a tube that accepts something less than an 18650, and with the 50W limit, the whole point was that it's 18650 only.

I don't know how it's on the Procyon, but up to the P3 the electronics is exposed anyway. And regarding the safety issue you mentioned, people could use something less than an 18650 even now, by using some spacers widely available.

The Radius is a box mod; the P3/Procyon is a tube mod. The Radius has 3 buttons. Back to the question above.

Back to the first question again...

The programmers are for dealers, not end-users. A vape shop owner can recover that cost very easily.

Regarding "at the time", what you and a couple others here seem to be missing is that the Procyon is an evolution of the P3, not an evolution of the Radius - two different product lines. I doubt the Procyon would have existed if ProVape couldn't have used existing parts and tooling from the P3, as there won't be as much return on investment for a tube mod in the day and age of the box mod.

I make adjustments to my P3 while I'm driving, sometimes 90Mph (cruise), I don't understand how glancing at a ringing telephone would screw up your concentration. Why do you have to glance at it anyway? Surely if it's ringing, you should be able to hear it or you would not have glanced at it when it started ringing in the first place.

Again, it was just an example showing you must concentrate on the scrolling menu, otherwise you miss the setting you wanted and get punished with another cycle wait.

Thanks for replying.

I think a better example would be, being in a firefight.

Here is another one I like. I watched it a long time ago and forget about it, except for the neighbor who has a deer head. I don't remember which episode he shows up in.

Mariusk, I perhaps missed this. Do you change settings frequently? I ask b/c I do it rarely, so the scrolling menu gets used almost not at all. Prolly a good thing; I'm apt to forget why I entered the menu in the first place!

From time to time, no more than others do..
But it's not only that.. It's these long scrolling error messages that never end, and when they finally end, they are scrolled again, just in case you didn't notice something..
You can't escape them, they're unstoppable. And when you finally think it's over, you're thrown into the settings even if there's nothing you can do there to solve the error.
For example, there's some error saying "check battery contacts and springs", or "replace atomizer and try again". So if I need to replace it, why am I thrown into the settings ?

Hmmm...I've never had an error with any of my ProVarii (except for OP when I haven't screwed a tank on right). I don't want this to sound like I'm devaluing your experience, like "It's never happened to me, so it can't have happened to you," but I'm left unable to relate or offer a possible solution. I'm sorry. :(

Ah. I see. I've never had any of those. The only error message I ever get is "OP," and that shows up on the main screen. Couldn't you just put the speed on very fast? Then it would only take 2 seconds for the errors to go by and you wouldn't get annoyed.

I'm not mocking you, BTW. It just seems that this is where, having told ProVape that you don't like the menu, you recognize that it is what it is - at least for now - and either deal with it or use a different mod.
