RB is the finish on the SS version smooth or rough? I know it has a texture to it because it's sandblasted/media blasted...was just curious. Nice pic!

It's very smooth as is standard on Provape's SS finish. It's also just about the most durable finish you can get on any mod anywhere!

Awesome, glad to hear. I've never owned a SS version before, mine have always been black and of course over time I had issues with paint wear.

You're going to be very happy with the SS finish. Yes you are!

What are you vaping on at 11 watts? Just curious? Me and my Kabuki are still happy at 9 watts here...

My Radius is my primary mod. And I own one Kabuki with a P3 base. Mowing season is starting again, so I went to get my P3 out (have a leather case with lanyard for it in 18350 mode) and my Kabuki is doing the dead-short-dance again regardless of how tight I put the Kabuki on, doesn't matter if I change the coil (all are fine on the Radius), and yes, I got a new base last year as this was one of the first ones. So I am wondering if there is something else I should try?

I have tried a different battery, cleaning everything completely, etc...

Please note; everything is fine on the Radius, it's only when using the Kabuki (trying I should say) on the P3 that nothing is working. Have tried 3 different coils, 4 known good batteries...

Help please???

Peter, if it's working fine at 9 watts on your Radius, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work equally well on your P3. I'm assuming you're using authentic Nautilus Coils, yes?

If you are, I'm afraid I would open a ticket with Provape.

Yup on the coils, and on the 9 watts too... and silly me, just realized I put this plea for help on the new "Procyon" page, how silly of me... I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong place!

I'm just wondering if I am missing something silly in front of my nose, as I haven't touched my P3 since last summer? Took out the battery, cleaned it, and put it in a drawer until last week, until it was needed again - what does that say about the Radius? One mod, one topper used for an entire year (daily, all day) without failure, without need for a backup - just cleaning and coil changes - wow~!

No worries about posting in the Procyon thread. The P3 and Procyon have much in common. I honestly doubt there's anything you're missing. Have you tried to fire any other atty on your P3? The only other thought I might suggest is you try to pull up the pin in your P3 a tad to see if it's just a slight contact issue. If that doesn't work, I'd definitely open a ticket with Provape.

OK, I'll bite. How does one "pull up the pin in my P3 a tad"? To my knowledge, I did not think it was user-adjustable?

It does have some movement and that's why there's an o-ring surrounding it. If it became compressed, it might not be contacting with the pin in your Kabuki. I wouldn't wrestle with it, but just pull up a tad to see if it moved down preventing the contact.

That's about all I gots. I do know in some cases people have (not that I'm saying you've done this) over tightened an atty, compressing the pin down a bit and a little pull on it made it come up just enough to contact the pin.

Is there a such thing as as an o-ring fetish? I mean, I have seen weirder since coming to the ProVape forums.

Just curious as I am packing my suitcase for a short trip (remember the luggage fetish discussion?) and reading these posts.....;)
